Baby boo, my best wishes to you & oh, fingers crossed for a positive prognosis. Hugs to everyone else who needs them.
Most of the decorations went up last night. Tree, nativity scene, loo cover, and Christmas village.
I need to move a wardrobe intot he loft, it is currently blocking my hall way but once that is done (tonight maybe?) then I can finish with the rest. There is glitter EVERYWHERE!I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

JJ, lovely to hear from you but sorry it isn't better news. Hope now your lovely mum has finally got a diagnosis she can start getting some relief from the symptoms. Sorry to hear your head is playing tricks again - hope it's very short lived and soon starts to behave
Kevin, those little houses look fabulous - will pop over and have a look although my kitchen skills are sadly lacking.
It's day 2 of my Christmas timetable and I've already altered it lol. I forgot we have carpet being laid two days this week so much of today has been spent putting the bedroom back to normal and tomorrow will need to clear spare bedroom as that's being carpeted on Thursday which is DDs birthday so out quite a bit of the day so it looks like Friday will be 'getting back to normal day' including taking a bit off the bedroom doors as we had varnished floorboards before and now they're a bit too big.
I'm planning to wrap the rest of the pressies tonight and then leave them downstairs ready for when the tree goes up - at least it will save us having to move them out of the spare room tomorrow. Been really cold here today but I loved itIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Babyboo so sorry you had such awful news I know it doesn't really help but like the others have said hopefully they caught it early
JJ hope things improve quickly for your mum now they have finally diagnosed her  that they left is so long even if she never rang back no excuse for them not to chase it up. Hope you feel better soon too
mrsMoneypenny what a lovely suprise from dh those moments make the tough times a little easier for a while at least. hospital appointments are tough esp when you expect not so good news
thanks for the wine advice will have look this wk
picked up the £50 note choc bars, 4pks of mini bars & packs of choc tree decs on offer for 50p each in tesco. They also had some reductions on tins of toffees picked up a xmas drum one for £2 and a snowball fight set 4x snowman face beanbags + marshmellows again down to £2 which I got for one of the elves activities.
M&S has the Xmas eve biscuit tin on the £5 offer
The tree is up and decorated well at least the parts taz could reach as he was determined that he had to do it all himself
think I'm nearly there present wise other than a few bottles of drink I'm hoping to get this wk and a couple of cash/vouchers which I can do last minute.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Babyboo I don't know what to say but I'm thinking of you.
Free spirit hope the tree looks fab decorated. We only had a real one once and my mum was demented with it so I've always gone artificial. When dgs is older I'm sure an elf will spring up.
I need so.e help please. I've 2 of the elves from the card factory and want to give one to dd and one to neice about the 20th when they came over. But I want like twin names. I wanted ji gle and jangle but she's already callex her one jingle are their any other names anyone can think of please x0 -
I need to finish my gift shopping this weekend. I'm thinking of going to bluewater alone first thing sunday.
Ive nearly finished ds Christmas eve hamper, he has pj's, a dressing gown, home alone trilogy, a Christmas activity book, snowman soup, chocolate coins and I'll put some popcorn and a big bag of crisps in too. This doesn't get wrapped but just arrives at sometime Christmas eve afternoon.
I need to get some bits for my mum, she has a voucher but she likes fenjal so I'll make a mini hamper from ds. So a visit to bluewater looks likely.
Scrap that, remembered I'm out with the girls sat night and sleeping over in East london, maybe Westfield if hangover isnt too bad
Have work Christmas party tomorrow night. Bought a new outfit today which can be mix and matched throughout the festive period so don't feel too guilty about the cost.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Good Morning All :snow_grin
It's quite chilly here this morning, frosty and feeling very Christmassy
I have been reading since my last post on and off but haven't had time to post. Got all the Christmas decs down Sat/Sunday and then put them up Monday as I always book the 1st December off work if I'm meant to be in, then I get to enjoy the day. All the decs up and looks so lovely, very happy with it this year. Mainly red, white and silver :xmastree: Will start bringing some of the presents down and popping them under the tree, cannot wait for the 25th to roll round!!
Late night shopping at the local town on Friday which we will be going to then picking up some food and eating at our friends (we do this every year!). Started handing my Christmas cards out also.
Hugs to all those in need and extra special hugs to babyboo!!
I will hopefully keep up to date better now:)
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
I never put the gifts under the tree until Christmas eve as I worry about being broken into. It's the most popular time for burglars as they know there will be an easy pay load sitting in one place. My friend lost everything the week before Christmas 2 years ago so I always bear that in mind. I keep mine in the locked loft, also stops ds from sneaking a peek tooI don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
