Fluffysox aww bless ds they are so cute when they're little hope the dummy elf makes the process fairly easy. Enjoy the spa
Costco can be great once you get past the bulk buy cost like quidsy said esp with the meat if you break it all down per piece and consider the quality its mostly great value though the bakery isn't so good for the wallet or waistline
OK so who else is a little  over the black friday madness honestly can't believe how crazy people can get.
Did get one the the £89 tvs first thing this morning but all very civil and plenty to go round wasn't mad enough to brave the shops. My biggest annoyance today has been game as they have been advertising offers on a couple of games ds wants only the website is constantly going down and on the rare occasion you can actually get to the checkout having been kicked out a dozen time its sold out  guess neither they or tesco want my money today
xmas tree goes up this weekend just need to find a place to put it
Right gotta do the school run tc allthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Jobo88 - I love the pinecones, they look great.
All this costco talk is making me miss the chicken nuggets my ex's mum used to get for me, they were soooo good!
Thankyou all for the virtual hugs, I'm definitely getting more than my fair share at the moment.
I have a Christmas shopping evening to go to tonight, having a stall for my Avon stuff, and it's all to raise money for a localish Brownie unit(my sisters a leader and it's her friends unit). So doesn't really matter if I don't sell much, just hope a few come!
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -

Oh i am so fed up of the flipping words Black Friday everyone is in on the act which wouldnt be so bad if they actually had bargains but half of them are selling stuff that was the same price last week!!! I have been watching scenes on the tv omg its unbelievable, i would rather pay a bit more haha im even too scared to do the Boots 75% off day after the stories i have heard :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning, today is the day the tree and all the decorations go up, I can't wait!
it should take all day to do. Once the kids are dressed we will start looking it out, I was good and got 2 large plastic storage boxes last year. So everything apart from the tree and garlands should be in them. My favourite is my Christmas clock that played a couple bars of Christmas tunes on each hour. My Oh loves it too lol

I agree that Own my own is really missed. I miss seeing her every day on her here, the funny caption posts and general catching up.
I also see stags everywhere and always think I must take a pic for OMO and realise she probably isn't even doing stags this year. So if your reading this hun, I'd love to know if you are still going with stags or a different theme this year?
My theme is candy cane stripes. I got some nice candy cane door hangers from the Range. And have some red and white bells and baubles in some glass vases at the door.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Merry Christmas tree put up day!!:xmastree: Well it is in our house anyway lol
Have been a busy bee with painting, christmas stuff for daughters school, christmas present buying and the usual life getting in the way , so sorry I have not had chance to come on. Will try and catch up with everyones news.
So the hubby going to get all the christmas decorations out of the loft later and we will all dance around to the motown christmas cd we have and make the house look very festive lol x the elf arrives on monday so need to organise that too. Also said I will help out daughters school with some elf antics.
Have been wrapping gifts for daughters school for santa visit so once they finished this weekend I can finally start my wrapping. Dont think I have much left to get now. Just last minute bits and a couple of vouchers and Im done!! whoop whoop. This is always a dangerous time though I seem to end up buying daft stuff as I am feeling christmassy lol xx
Hope everybody is feeling the festive cheer and spirit xxx hugs to everybody who needs them x
Its beginning to look alot like christmas !! xxx0 -
No cosco near me, may have to travel somewhere & have a look.
The tesco black Friday saga was disgusting, I can't believe human beings behave that way over a TV! And not even a very good one at that lol.
Got spoilt rotten yesterday for my birthday, and despite having a 10 hr day at work, it was actually very uneventful and peaceful.
We are celebrating today instead, dh is taking me out to choose a new coat, then we are all off to see nativity 3, and then a meal and pub this evening.
Christmas tree is going up tomorrow, and have promised dd2 we will bake mince pies.
For one weekend only, all housework (except washing & ironing) has been banned, today is only the 4th Saturday I have had off all year, so I intend to make the most of it!It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the news yesterday and all for £60 off a TV with an over inflated RRP .
The only item I've bought was a lightening deal last week ,something my OH has wanted for a while [Dremmel trio]which is normally anywhere between £70-£100 but Amazon had it for £44-99.
DD had her x-ray and they were happy to let her go so I assume the fracture has healed and its just a case of everything taking time to settle, I take her back to the doctor next Friday so we will see.
Got my car back:j it still has a dent but I can live with that just got to arrange to take it to a VOSA station for a VIC.
There's a Christmas fayre on tomorrow that I was hoping to go to but I doubt DD will be up for it ,there's always next year I guess. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
