Its a nice feeling being finished isn't it .

I'm going to Morrison's tomorrow to get the small amount of alcohol that I will be getting and the organic cider for the pork for New years day.

Other than a quick trip to Iceland when I have the freezer space we are completely finished.:santa2:

ChrissyG I went in the hunt for cellophane at Lidl today but no luck - checked with the kitchen wraps (foil, clingfilm, freezer bags etc). Whereabouts was it displayed?

  • Evening everyone, i have had quite a good day!! I did something completely out of my comfort zone today and got so stressed out about it but was determined to do it and did :D i volunteered to help out DD1 charity collecting outside Morries for Marie Curie, and i actually enjoyed it although i was dealing with people/strangers, the kids donating were heartwarming, one little boy even used his pocket money after his mum said no, bless him and they were all so happy to get a sticker!!!!! in this day and age! Then after i went in and used my voucher for £5 of fruit and veg so very happy :D off to get christmas tree tomorrow :D

I think I spotted the chocolate wine in amazons deals, so if you can check in on the deals every now and then, keep an eye out for it.

The cellophane in Lidl was with the special deals a while ago. Might have sold out already. If there's any wrapping paper dotted about, check for the odd roll amongst those.

Fab floors! Would certainly be a talking point, Wouldn't it?

Well done, Freespirit! Glad you did something like that, even though you were out of your comfort zone.

Went to the Christmas craft show at Excel today. Glad I got free tickets as it wasn't worth the £10 entry cost. Nice to look around, but didn't buy a lot. Some nice cheese and a glass keyring for a gift. They had some fabulous handmade glass tables, but way, WAY out of my price range. Lottery win and I'd be buying several, but until then...:)
