JJ may be kicked out today:j They are removing the bolt today so, I suppose depending on time, she goes home either today or tomorrow. I was planning to see her tomorrow afternoon, but as I said to her, in the nicest possible way, I hope I don't:D

I've sent her a text but not heard back. If she's still in London on Sunday, I can go and visit then, but tomorrow is hubby's birthday. Regent street lights get turned on 5pm Sunday. Shall I spring her from hospital to see that? ;)
thank you, im so excited for her about babe and will be knitting more baby things after christmas. mil is not doing brilliantly if im honest but is coping well and still getting about. the 2 week radiotherapy finished (it was offered as palliative care) then we found out shed fractured two vertebra so has back pain as well now. she still manages to get to get to the cinemas senior screen and out for a meal each week with her friends and i do all her cleaning and shopping so between us we are muddling through

havent seen the sains ad yet but will look out for it

danielle the photos of your makes look fab, thank you for sharing.

ruth, i didnt reaslise how much i loved trisha ashleys books, id forgotten 12 days was by her till i started reading another and saw it written on the cover. i fancy reading chocolate shoes and wedding blues so will look out for that, at the mo im stuck into the magic of christmas and my housework is really suffering for it. has she got any more christmassy ones in the pipeline and will there be another set in sticklepond?
edit. ive just become a fan of hers on goodreads, so i should find out via that now when she writes anything new

    hugs to all

She's on twitter (and probably Facebook), so just ask her. She's very nice and usually replies. :)
I'm reading her short story collection at the moment. It's 99p on kindle. Footsteps in the snow-although it's not all Christmas stories.

    I'm Fantastic Snuggles' human!

Freespirit-I will admit that I preferred Calling Mrs Christmas. I clicked with the characters better. Hope you'll get some reading time over the weekend.

  • Wow, a 2-day catch-up marathon! Have had domestic chaos this week, I found a big wet mouldy euch ceiling in one of the spare bedrooms on Sunday afternoon, called big bro round, on investigation there was daylight through the roof and a lot of wet 'stuff' in the loft. Builder friend said he would do it on Monday. He came Sunday evening and said 'l'll just make a hole in this so it doesn't fall down' and proceeded to make a hole in the ceiling, a whole load of it fell in and l was covered in it! looked like Dido in the ruins of Carthage. Next morning l ran away to York with fave cos, for our annual Christmas getaway/shop/indulge/break, and when l got back the roof was repaired, the ceiling sports 2 new plasterboards and the plasterer is coming today to skim it. With luck it will be repapered next week. Then l can get everything put back.
JJ hope it went well and you have been discharged.
Baby aaaaaawwwwww looks soooooooo mmmmmmy. want a cuddle.
I seem to have overdone the Christmas shopping as l can't resist a good bargain, so its either a good start for 2015 or extra parcels this year! decisions decisions.
Now l'd best get moving as plasterer is arriving at 9am.

    Go big or go home!
  • JJ didn't have bolt removed :( they were monitoring her sleep pattern night, but with her mega sense of humour she has decided they are trying to steal her DNA! Told her they will use it to create a being on another planet!

I sent her a text earlier, but not heard anything yet, but I do hope bolt is removed and she goes home thus morning.
A smile costs little but creates much :)
  • everything crossed that things are going well for JJ

freespirit no more treatment has been offered for mil, they said they will just monitor and control her symptoms and pain now
