My nephew and I are pretty close. I know I'm his favourite uncle
He has started to spend a lot of time on his Playstation. He was really active until 6 months ago but gaming is slowly taking over.
Any ideas on what I could get him for Christmas apart from the latest PS game?
I have been looking at some kites online. I was thinking of taking him away for the day for a catch up. I used love flying kites as a kid so hoping to get him into it too.
I just hope there isn't a snow storm in January.
I think that sounds lovely, maybe take some snacks and drinks too. I would love a day for just me & my fav aunt now & I'm 27! If you receive the remote controlled helicopter you wanted, maybe you could take that too!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
Havent read back but just to let you know there are some new lego minecraft sets being released the 1 November a lot bigger and more like the normal sets, prices range but think lowest is £20 if you look on brickset will probably have them on there HTH0

Totally forgot about my helicopter when I wrote the post. I think I am more excited about this than he will be. I hope it gets him loving the outdoors again.
I could get him this kite so we can spend Christmas day designing it and then fly it another day. That way he can enjoy his Christmas present on the day.0 -
Can't remember who was after mini candy canes, but £stretcher have them in 99p for a bag of around 20.
Lots of frozen goodies in £land. HB are up to 4 aisles of Xmas stuff now, and heard my first public Christmas song of the year - white Christmas was playing in the pharmacy!!
Lidl have soooo many yummy looking treats in for Xmas, I got a marzipan stollen, gingerbread rounds & 2 packs of crackers for cheese. Have hidden them with my sweets tubs so they stand a much better chance of making it to Christmas week! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

They had the chocolate and strawberry flavours in the 99p shop a few days ago. Dated Nov 2014, but I've heard there are more around with a longer date. Pop tarts do taste the same years later, though (trust me!)msgigglewick wrote: »my goodness. my dh just surprised me.... he's booked a glass blowing workshop for me and him to go do.. how excited am i!!!! i get to attempt to make 2 glass christmas baubles.. i'm stupidly looking forward to this lol. That sounds fun. Looking forward to hearing about it once you've had the workshop.
