Just wanted to mention the Nestle Smarties Santa http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml?cmpid=ahc-_-ghs-d1-_-asdacom-dsk-_-hp#/product/910001546241 in Asda which is a big one and only £1 - not bad for Nestle brand. They also have the little smartie pumpkins at 3/£1 which is cheapest I've seen anywhere.
They also have a Princess Tower which is a moneybox tin in the shape of a Castle Tower. This is filled with marshmallows, candy and a candy necklace. It's £4, but I know my DD will absolutely love it.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Bells McIcicles reporting for duty lol:rotfl:
Got more stuff sorted yesterday in town. Had a walk around Boots to see what they had in, take a guess at what I think will be OOTW and make up my "I want list" in the hope I can get them in the 50% sale.:o I refuse to pay full price for a lot of their stuff.:o
Then went into Poundland and got all the stuff I needed there, apart from the Frozen Advent calendarCalled into M&S for the Where's Wally calendar that was mentioned on here........... well there wasn't a Christmas thing in sight in our store
Bought my christmas jumper in Primark. I seen it in Penny's in Dublin last week but they didn't have my size, so when I saw it yesterday I snapped it up lol.
Personalised coke bottles arrived this morning. They are for the Christmas table before dinnerGot little Santa hats for the top of them too. Was too good to pass up :rotfl:
Bought some lovely Reindeer food in one of the card shops yesterday also for 99p. WIll try and post a picture if I can. Was lazy too and bought small joke cards for our Christmas elf to deliver. The plan was to write them on Gift tags each morning, but these were easier, and means I don't have to look for or make up silly christmas jokes lolPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

What a grim morning - weather wise
heating on full at work as we are cold, given that the hole where water leaks through still hasn't been fixed even though they promised it would be a year ago
It's also deathly quiet, so looks like another slow day here..anyway enough moaning now!
pigpen that is so annoying when people loose a tiny bit of weight and drop sizes! I myself am a 12/14 and although I have not lost any actual weight I have lost a bit on size - I don't trust the scales I trust how my clothes feel and what I see in the mirror! Much more realistic. I'm careful but eat what I like when I like and just exercise to make room for it :rotfl::D

mrsm what wonderful news, congratulations to your DD and your family
freespirit sorry that you are still in painbut glad that the baby shower went well, and how nice that you got looked after when you had struggled to get there in pain.
We have dug the final potatoes out the allotment last night, the final last couple of plants were by torch light ha ha! We have pulled quite a few cabbages up and now just have parsnips, brussles, red cabbage and a few white cabbage left in. We have had quite a busy summer so OH hasn't been able to spare as much time to go down as he wanted so he said he wasn't too fussed doing it next year, but I insisted that we carry on as it's good to get out and I have enjoyed it - plus I know more going in to next year so hopefully I will be better organised, bless him he did agree
I need to find a running top for my Dad so going to have a snoop online see if I can see anything. Just need to rack my brains for something else for BIL and FIL plus pick up the gifts for granparents and that's my Christmas presents finished - apart from something else for OH but he doesn't know what he wants yet.
I finished 10 Christmas cards yesterday and will keep doing 10 at a time I think.
Aldi had a while section on running/cycling clothes and accessories last week. Mine still has a few bits left, so you may get luckypinknfluffy28 wrote: »Magic McFrosty signing in!
Thank you to anyone who has mentioned frozen stuff & whereabouts - I now have a list of stores to visit tomorrow to hopefully finish off dd2''s stocking fillers.
All presents purchased & awaiting wrapping. Hoping to have all stockings finished this week, which then only leaves Xmas eve hamper, elf gifts/activities, and food!
Coming in well under budget so far (almost £200!) So very happy with myself! I started saving £1 a day in September, and will continue to do so until Jan sales when it will be used to give me a healthy start on xmas 2015!
Winter is well & truly approaching, full of cold & an ear infection. I've been out of bed just 5 hours and already longing to climb back in lol
Have a great day all x
I think the £1 a day idea sounds fab! I will definitely start that one and then hopefully be more productive and get most of the pressies for next year in the Jan sales.
I hope you start to feel better soon xprincesskitty29 wrote: »Forgot to say, i'm Cookie McSnowballs!
Sorry pixtotts meant to say I did get your invite to the Pinterest board, I didn't get your PM though. Thank you and i'm now following and enjoying the pins! :T
Feisty I have just sent you a PM, let me know if you haven't received it as nothing was showing in my sent items. x
All received and message returned
Thanks for all the hospital well wishes. The fertility one was fine although poor DH had to have a surprise blood test. I know it doesn't sound like a big issue, but they filled 4 vials and then Southampton hospital took some and had to insert a cannular for his abdomen dye scan. It's really taken it out of him, so he's had to go for a sleep
On the plus side we did manage a few hours snuggling on the sofa with the dogs and a fleece, it was wonderfully autumnal!2024 Challenges

Goodness, how could I forget to tell you about the first Christmas food fare I sampled?!? Aldi had the mini stollen in and I just couldn't resist! I had a piece with my lunch mmmmmmmm
I'm sure they weren't out until November last year?2024 Challenges

I'm :snow_grin Jingle McSnowflake!
I didn't make much progress with the Christmas gifts that I've still to buy at the weekend. I'll have to get moving with this as I normally like to have all the shopping done by November so I can sit back in December and just write the cards, wrap and make arrangements for the present deliveries.
MrsM Congratulations to your DD and all the family!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
