    Chrissy, the photos are excellent!

    Pink they look fab!

You guys have inspired me to dig out the surplus gift cupboard and figure out who gets what. I also need some help/inspiration. I have a very difficult family of 6 to buy for, I am giving them all a £10 voucher, but need a token gift for each with a budget of £3

Mum - late thirties will not wear or eat anything that isn't organic, doesn't like jewellery and doesn't really have any hobbies .. spa/beauty day thing? bag? does she need anything for the house? Lamp, mirror, canisters, mugs for example.

Dad - late thirties a bit techy, likes to read but doesn't really get time to .. kindle.. can read little bits and keep popping back and also read on phone, computer etc. a hamper of nice nibbles.. cheese, coffee, drinks for example

Daughter 21 - doesn't drink, quite trendy .. shopping spree? vouchers.. or just ask what she wants I doubt she still believes in santa!

Son 18 - doesn't drink, a bit geeky.. Mine got a World of Warcraft subscription.. doesn't get much geekier ;)

Son - 10 suffers with Aspergers (highly functioning) likes Lego and DS.. DS games! with headphones!! mine loves his wind up torch and radio.. roblox on his lappy (now 15 though)

Son - 7 typical rough and tumble boy that loves wrestling. .. tickets to watch wrestling? dinosaurs, books, drawing sets?

I'm at a complete loss as unfortunately due to the Aspergers, if the middle son isn't happy with a gift, he will tell you :(
I actually like that part of aspergers.. the absolute honestly..

I get mine to write santa lists during October and work from those.. mine are 1 up to 23

  • You guys are awesome! Thank you for all the help :) sadly charity shops are out as they are a family of germaphobes (mum won't let them use public transport or even go the library!) so unless it is new with tags she won't let them have them ;) x

  • Evening everyone, i have had a lovely day today, woke up with BD as usual then i got a phone call from DD2 saying she had an appt with the anaethetist at the hospital just in case she has an epidural while in labour (she has scoliosis so they want to check her spine) and then she would pop in for lunch, so we had a lovely afternoon of chit chat and then she asked me if i wanted to be at the birth (i have always wanted to be at the birth of a baby, not that i wasnt at my own but you are up the other end and they get the excitement of the baby crowning and coming out) :D:D i was so touched i nearly cried :)

PRINCESSKITTY ah lovely to see you posting, glad you are having more good days than bad, it is nervewracking going out on your own for the first time, i remember i was waiting for a bus and i couldnt hold DD1 and get the pushchair folded i was getting into a panic until some lovely lady helped me fold it up and get on the bus  it took me a while to do it again. I bought the red and white reindeer tablecloth and runner from studio gifts while it was on offer, i cant wait for christmas day either all of us together and babys first

HANLEY haha love your kids choices of outfit for halloween

LAZYSHEEP oh i am dead jealous of you living 10 mins away from the range!!! You lucky thing :)

PINKNFLUFFY love the hampers they look fab

RUTHHONEY you are welcome, i see you are setting something up with Tricia Ashley and Chrissie Manby, good luck and i hope it all turns out well

FeistyFidget what about a hamper for the entire family? Say a movie night theme or similar? You could add healthy snack options too and maybe something like a quiz or similar? I'm sure it would be doable for £18?

PRINCESSKITTY you should be very proud of yourself getting out with your lo by yourself, I've been there and it's a huge task to get past. Well done.

Just purchased another present. Wanted a Kipling bag for my step mum as it's her style, been stalking the thread on the grabbit now board and eventually bought a Haku bag for £18.50 including a 20% amazon reduction. Delighted with that!

  • I'm going to have to keep a lookout for those elf sacks. I'm planning on being an Elf to two or three children from the Post Pals Charity and sending them gifts at Christmas. These would be perfect for that!
