  • Lush Christmas launches October 3rd in stores and October 1st online.

Found another american sweets website, candyhero.com have ordered myself a mystery box and a couple of bits to try as pre christmas stocking fillers. Bought some biscuits out of M&S and a box of chocs that could end up being ours or a gift for the post man.

Have taken out a second credit card with no interest on balance transfers to help bring the credit card bill down quicker my plan is to pay the big amount a month off of the interest free one and make the minimum payment on the current one.

My coke bottles arrived and my lakeland order!

    Love and hugs xx

    Feisty-well done.

Our only holiday next year is a short break to York for dd's 18th [OMG im way to young to have an adult dd] After that we are going on a serious drive over the next two years to reduce our debt.
Although I try to be MSE it doesn't always work out but ive joined a lot of "scrimpers" groups on facebook and plan to seriously change a lot of what I do.

  • Well done Feisty, one less worry for you xx
  • Yaay Feisty, way to go!!!!!!!!! What a lovely feeling that will be for you both.
Whoever asked earlier, 'blackites' are just brambles, nothing exotic, sorry.
That duvet set is MINE, MINE MINE do you hear me?
Sorry not posting as regularly as normal (waddya mean, 'thank goodness') just too much boring rl getting in my way.
Still working on the garden, phase 2 is well under way, still trying to be frugal, but l keep failing, so l keep climbing back on the wagon and falling off.
I had an M&S till voucher for £5 off a £25 spend, so did I buy foodstuff for the freezer? no, l did not, I bought 2 bottles of their half price champagne, intending it for Christmas for my 2 struggling friends, I want to do a 'lt's time to drink champagne and dance on the table' themed hamper for them, as a cheer up. I should be able to do them for about £20-£22 each, more than l usually spend on them, but this year has been so tough for them.
Went out for the day with DD yesterday, over the border, in case we need passports next time (lol) and had a frugal hm picnic lunch and a free coffee courtesy of D*bbies garden centre on the way home.
Bought some luxury crackers from the H*llmark outlet shop, half price, and bogof, so 12 for £6, and will add gifts as l find suitable ones.
Today will be a stay at home one, as l can hardly move. (self inflicted, and an acceptable price to pay for yesterdays jolly)
Hope everyone has a good day, xxxxx

Does anyone else you an Ecoegg ? My oh bought this set form QVC and although I had my doubts I have to say im actually impressed. The only issue I had was the machine didn't smelt nice due to the lack of chemicals but a drop of Zoflora in with the fabric conditioner has done the trick.
