    Happy New Year all :D

I was in bed by 9.30pm absolutely shattered. I was woken up by fireworks and neighbours celebrating at midnight so kind of saw it in. :rotfl:

Decided to start the new year off the way I want to spend this year. I got weighed and had lost a whole pound since Christmas despite eating all my Christmas goodies :D:j Got everything out for breakfast then discovered that DD had borrowed the battery out of my kitchen scales so I have no idea where it is and she's away up in Cumbria with her dads side of the family and not answering her phone :wall: So today, healthy eating and no calorie counting for me :rotfl::rotfl:

I plan on getting budgets sorted today, reviewing last years spending, and backing everything up. Then starting my planning for celebrations this year. ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Happy New Year all! Went to my brothers with OH and had a mini gathering with some drinks and a Chinese

Watched GB and the fireworks then walked home., currently sat in my PJs watching Tv and looking forward to a roast at the in laws this afternoon!

OH is back at work tomorrow night so we are making the most of the last 'chill' day we have together! Have been looking at the online sales but nothing has taken my fancy to be honest so will just keep a look out all year round for bargains!xx

    Happy birthday Archiebear.

Only woke up about 10 mins ago which is a huge lie in for me. :o

Plans for today are go to the cinema and eat out, as one last treat for the kids. We also want to de-christmas the house and get decs put back in the loft. Not sure if this before or after cinema or a bit of both as will take hours.

I would also like to make some aims for this year (not NY resolutions as much) and change my sig. Will report back later xxx

I didn't manage to stay up for the bells - I had to admit defeat and go to bed as I couldn't keep my eyes open!

    Happy birthday to Archiebear :bdaycake:

Hope everyone has a great day whatever you are up to! :)
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Happy Birthday and Happy New Year!

Gift preps begin. I need to replenish birthday card stocks. Buy stamps and look for gift items for my mam in February.

When DH is paid mid month I shall be looking for money off lego kits for kids for christmas next year! They never grow out of lego!

Question for you all. Do you wrap as you buy and just make a list of what you have? I have some led over paper and tempted to wrap as soon as. Just thinking I maybe tempted to wonder come the autumn and peek in, defeating the purpose!

Mr morris sons had some sticky lables on for 28p so picked up 4 packs, as there are 50 per pack they will last for at least 3 years. Also got a plate for santa mince pie for 48p and a pack of cards for ds to send to school pals next year for 48p. Still have rolls of paper, bows, tape and ribbon so not planning on any other Christmas purchases. Also not buyjng anything in jan sales for next year, I much prefer to wait till summer then I can browse those sales with some savings towards Christmas in my account.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
