Freespirit66 - I saw some on the studio24 website the other day. They had some lovely stuff and good value xx

KELLY7 ooh thats a good thought as well, i would have to open an account with them wouldnt i? Thankyou
Depends on how you view things:eek: £132 lighter and that included additional discount:o If you haven't got one already, apply for Ikea Family Card, entitles you to further discount on some items. Found a suitcase in there (no idea who I lent my medium one to )£55 or £40 with the card. Also managed to pick up rolls of wrapping paper for 45p, reduced from £1.75.

GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY oh dear!!!! :D i love the family card, i got DDs OHs dad a rucksack the last time i went and saved him £15

RUTHHONEY i dont know i havent seen them but WHITESATIN has bought some for her grandchildren and was really pleased with the price, oh there is nothing worse than dry cake when you are having a treat. I felt a bit more confident today at the decopatch and quite enjoyed it actually, my girls have both made lovely things with it. Oh thanks will have a look at HalfCost for the paper. Ah i love robins we used to have one here regularly but i dont see it anymore

PIXTOTTS ooh i bet the reindeer looks lovely in decopatch, i have run out of plain red paper now so i will have to go get some more

Ruth_honey, a few days ago John Lewis had, in their sale, at £3.50 reduced from £10, cuddly dog soft toys which could open up to use as a pillow, e.g. when travelling. Sadly, they have sold out now, I think.

I was fortunate and gave them to my two grandsons today and they were delighted as both boys are really into cuddly toys. They are soon going to France, by car, a long journey, so I can see them being useful then.

Betsie so sorry your camper is poorly and you've had to cancel your holiday, I hope that it can be fixed and that you can have a holiday soon.

freespirit your Ikea will be my local one too (I live just north of the Berkshire border in Bucks) - I fear it's going to be a very tempting place! I think you do have to have an account for Studio which is annoying as they have rolls of 'Baby's 1st Christmas' wrapping paper for as little as £1.49. I do have an account and would happily get some for you and post on but I fear that may be a tad expensive to post so would undo the cheapness of it! Or I could take it off the roll and fold it carefully which would be quite cheap to post? If you don't mind that i'm happy to do it for you, it wouldn't be any trouble. Here's a link:

I'm thinking of getting some anyway for my little one.

Ruth_honey I used a voucher for tea and cake at John Lewis for the first time the other day, it was a novelty! DH had a hot chocolate as I've gone off hot drinks at the moment but I had a double chocolate muffin, it was nice but a bit dry. I can't complain too much though as we'd just had an hour of excellent customer service with someone talking us through all of the pushchairs on offer - we are complete novices and knew nothing!

I made a completely impulsive and unnecessary purchase yesterday - a Christmas jiffy bag! Here it is:

    Xmasjiffybag_zps2fb4fdf3.jpg

I was in WH Smith and they had a little sale on, it was reduced to £1.99. I can't remember the last time I had to send a Christmas present to anyone but I couldn't leave it behind! Evidence of a Christmas nut... :rotfl:

freespirit66 Ooohh decopatch I LOVE!!! Like Ruth_honey I tried it at a craft show, then got hooked....I'm trying to do a reindeer but his antlers are proving tricky :/

I went for a run...I'm dying... there are too many damn hills in Malvern!
I wish I lived by an Ikea.....

Love to see the reindeer when he's finished.
Probably best that there's no ikea near you. Far too much temptation. :D

You've still got time to buy stuff! Even if it's just an apple pie.
We're having some hog dogs, pulled pork and apple pie for dessert. Lovely and sunny here today, so think the BBQ will be used.

We have robins in the garden quite a lot. Just a bit worried that the young ones won't be quick enough to escape from Blossom. Only seen her once with a bird and it wasn't harmed, but she's a quick kitty. :o

They sound very cute, but I don't have anyone to give them to anyway. Total bargain, though.

Very nice! I think personalised items are so lovely-especially for those with an unusual name.

That's so kind of you to offer to do that. Everyone on this board is so kind and generous. :T

The JL muffins did look very good. Maybe I should try going there in the morning, so the cakes haven't been sitting out for hours.
I have heard good things about the service in the shop. It's good when the staff actually know their stock very well and can help you properly. Richer Sounds are excellent for that if anyone needs electrical goods.

Love the Christmas Jiffy bag. Very festive.
