I didn't snatch them, but I did buy Robbie 3 Thorntons white snowmen today in Sainsburys. They were £1.50 each and worked out cheaper than buying him milky bars. He only has a little bit here on a Sunday and the BB date is Oct . But I did not snatch them or push. They were on the end of the pasta sauce isle.

Been lurking and finally thought I should post! Birthday here is 19th of March
I have been planning ahead for Christmas 2014 and bought wrapping paper, christmas cards and some half price decorations for the tree. I have saved all the Christmas gift bags we got and stashed those away and boxed up all bows and tags left over. I might see if I can get another bag of bows in the sale then that should be enough! Also ordered the gruffalo's child sounds book on Amazon for £3 which will either be for DD's birthday or Christmas.
I buy presents for 8 people at Christmas. 7 adults and then my daughter. I have a spreadsheet ready with names and present ideas and prices etc. I have popped a notebook in my bag which I will jot down present ideas into when people say "oh I'd like one of those". To save money, I'm putting the pennies from my main bank into a separate saving account and loose change into money tins.
Feeling very organised but I can imagine come next November I will be feeling a little panicked! This year was very organised but I kept feeling like I'd forgotten something even though I hadn't!
I'm off to bed now, got a rotten cold and OH has fallen asleep next to me so best take him off to bed. Night all! x

I got it from Toys R Us. They seem to be the best place for Despicable Me merchandise in the uk. Love the Logo game. Played it with my cousin & her boyfriend last year and it was great. Rapidough is a good game too.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Hello, I would love to join you all - if that's ok?
Im libby, 27 and live in Norfolk.
My birthday is 29th October 1986.
Im not to sure what to do in this thread, is it Christmas planning throughout the year?
Ive tried to be very organised the last few years but I always seem to fail in the present department. Cards, paper, tags etc Im fine with, I struggle with presents and feel I have seemed to give rubbish presents recently.:wave:0 -

Hello
This thread is really whatever you want it to be. ( so that's cleared up the confusion :rotfl: )
No really it started out as a purely Christmas thread a couple of years ago, but we didn't all want to say goodbye for 6 months in the January. So we now post all year.
You will find Jan/Feb is about Buying gifts in the sales. We then go on to general chit chat, moan etc ( with the odd Christmas gift or glitch thrown in ) until September when we go into full Christmas mode.
And I am sure your presents are not that bad. If you want any advice or tips just ask.
When we are not spending our own money we love nothing better than spending each other's. In truth we are a group of personal shoppers just waiting to be called on.
Have added your birthday0 -
Thank you Feisty murie & freespirit!
Unfortunately I have never even manage to get pregnant so anything will be a start - I'm looking forward to it but not really sure what to expect and scared that i will never have a child!
I have bought a few bits from the B00ts sale for next year but nothing to shout about! Will keep looking though xx0 -
Ohhhhh you are all so far ahead!
I am still working my way through OMO's first few posting of sites.0 -
Thanks for new thread x promise to try and stay in touch more x happy belated Christmas wishes x0
