Freespirit- Thank you lovely , yeah shes out of hospital thankfully. Will see her this week for dinner and a catch up and check shes managing!
Today I cleared out most the garage , called a scrap metal man who took away a old tumble drier , king size headboard , large bin and a few poles and a microwave so thats made the tip pile a bit smaller , then I paid another man a small amount to take away some old wood , few old bin bags of rubbish and old boxes ect so now just need to put away the stuff I found in there that we are keeping. Hoping to get another tip run done this week or begining of next so I can finally start making the garden nice (which is hard because the dogs enjoy digging out plants so our plants are wall mounted or hanging baskets lol. xNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

3FORHOLIDAYS oh it was a good one haha, at first when i saw it was a challenge i thought oh blooming heck who am i meant to do it on, only having the dog for company, so i decided it would have to be after 12 and on my DS, he got a book delivered today from Amazon, and because he was annoyed at having to send the wine kit back, i took the book out carefully opening the end of the box and slipped one of my chick lit in there and put it back on his desk, he came home from work in a bit of a mood, picked the parcel up and brought it into the LR to open, omg his face was puce, 'i dont believe it, they have now sent the wrong ***** book, now i am going to have to send that back, oh fgs cant they get anything right' so DD1 said oh what book was it meant to be? And i pulled the real one out from under the cushion and said 'this one APRIL FOOLS' i think he was rather tickled by it, but he was definitely fooled :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Freespirit- Thank you lovely , yeah shes out of hospital thankfully. good morning campers, Loved the April Fool, Freespirit, I can never think of them.
Why is it, I wonder, that I am wide awake from 3am but now when I should get up am I all sleepy and want to stay in bed?
Poor Mia, getting told off by someone she doesn't know because THEIR dog is barking!!
When I was in the garden on Sunday, the neighbour whose garden backs onto mine said that he was going to rip out all his hedging and replace the fence in the next couple of weeks, good news, as I had been expecting to have to do it, I have offered to contribute to it, but he said that as his other neighbour works for a building firm he will order the fence through him and get it discounted, so not to worry.
I now feel as if I should apologise to you OMO, for having such nice neighbours. Perhaps I will bake him a cake as a thank you. He can always use it as ballast for the fence posts!!!
Now I must get up. It isn't the rolling out of bed that is the problem, its the getting up off the floor.0 -

I have got rid of most of the car boot/facebay/freecycle stuff, this really is rubbish, unfortunately, but if i come across something, i will try to sell it first, then freecycle then dump if it doesnt go, ex took what he wanted and left his rubbish #103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Good afternoon lovelies - bit of a mixed bag today. There were tears and tantrums (from me) before leaving for work and then DH said some rather worrying things about how his illness is effecting him and after he dropped that little bombshell I was in no fit state for work
I felt terrible for not going into my morning shift, but was too scared/worried to leave him alone after what he said.
I did however manage to get him out with me today for a distraction and I think/hope it has helped.
Today I am tackling the living room ready to put the flat up for sale. I finished the kitchen Sunday and was really pleased with how it turned out[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

:hello: Not been here for ages, been really busy and it is now year end at work, so still not got time to think:mad: Anyway, just nipped in because I did something very exciting today.....have booked the tickets for the panto, going to be Cinderella, no idea who will be in it, but as I managed to get top price tickets for £17.50 each, I don't care:j
Hope you all doing well and I promise, I will catch up with everything soon :rotfl::grouphug:A smile costs little but creates much0
