Betsie, Wow, I'm very envious of you with your camper van. I've always fancied having one but never really had the courage to get on and do something about it. Can we expect a pic soon?

Evening everyone, headache is finally lifting, have run out of painkillers and luckily DD1 had 2 left in her handbag when she came home from work

    Hi there everyone
Freespirit I noticed that one of your challenges today is to go without coffee. How has that been going?
Betsie A campervan! Wow! Where do you fancy travelling to with it?
JJ Great to 'see' you! You are being super organised with all that present buying. Could you give me some of your guag as mine has 'got up and gone'? :rotfl: I'll probably find it again in a few months!
Have a great evening everyone! :)

Hi everyone, the sleep fairy short changed me again grrrrr. JJ how organised are you!?!!. well done. And well done to your lovely mum. Betsy are you going to do a tour of the 'cavalry ers'? will you bring biscuits? hob-nobs? seriously I hope you really enjoy the campervan and get loads of use.
Thinking about you Nanamia, hope you are alright big hugs to you.
Freespirit, go you, nearly finished the undercoat. Paint fumes can really get you, keep the window/door open then you can choose ....paint fumes or hypothermia, lol.
Wish I could get some sleep as it is going to be a busy day, DGS school is on strike so I can take him for new shoes as he has worn the soles almost out of his current ones. Customer services of several companies have to be contacted and complaints made, (letters to follow) DD needs a haircut so that can be her mothers day present off DGS. Need to get milk and a few other bits, then back to Doc.s .
Right, I'm off to make hot chocolate and put out an sos to the sleep fairy xxxxx

    Hi all,

Just realised I've not posted for almost a month! Been feeling a bit "meh!" recently and am trying to drag myself out of the doldrums, not very successfully to be honest.

Sorted for mother's day - both cards are made and buying mums potted plant each. Taking them out for lunch on Saturday as we're going away for a few days on Sunday.

Omo that made me chuckle :)

Free spirit I know it's not very MSE, but I'd chuck it and buy (or wait until you can afford) low fume paint. It's not worth being poorly over xxx

Freespirit, glad the headache has gone at last. Paint fumes are horrible and so unnecessary in these technologically advanced days. I'm pleased to say the painting I did looks great now it's finished (3 coats!!!) but I'm never using oil based paint again.

His Missus, sorry to hear you've been under par and hope you have a lovely few days away.

Sorry I've not been posting lately. I've been having another clear out. Have got rid of some ornaments I know I will never use again. Cleared out all the lounge cupboard. ( yes all 22 of them )
Robbie's new cabinet is built and full of toys. So I now have 27 cupboards and 4 drawers in the lounge. :o
All the stags are put away and the dogs are out. New cushion covers on and one new picture.

New tube map picture is up in the hallway. It's been quite a talking point.

Kitchen is finished. Garden and path ways cleared. Just need to move a couple of plants around. They are all in large pots, so it's not as bad as it sounds. They are just very heavy.

Dd has cleared both of her rooms. I did do ds' room, but it will need doing again. He really doesn't get the wardrobe thing. :rotfl: Although as he has been using his new laundry basket, at least I know know all the clothes on the floor are clean. :rotfl: I'm not quite sure if he has started collecting used water bottles or if he just hasn't bought them down for recycling. He has 7 on his desk. I expect the later.

My French doors are broken. You have to open them both together. The door man came out today and is ordering a new lock. He is also going to raise the front door slightly as it scrapes on the door mat. It is the thinnest mat I could find, but not quite thin enough. It will be lovely to be able to open a door easily.

Well I think that is all my not so exciting news. :rotfl:

    Hope everyone is well. :D
