That must be so annoying for you
It is bad manners that the interviewee didn't phone to say that they weren't coming. It makes you wonder if they are the right sort of person to employ.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

fiesty obviously they werent the right person for the job but must have been very frustrating esp as you were already stressed. with jobs being so hard to get you'd think people would make far more effort when they get an opportunity
omo love it must admit not too keen on too much heat but would rather be too hot than too cold and its flippin cold at the momentthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Fingers crossed for you Nic - I hope you get a positive outcome from the interview.
I too looked for the pandas for Pigpen, but found them to be OOS at the 3 stores I can get to. However, I found some bits in the Argos clearance for my 5 month old twin nephews to put away for their birthday, so still a good result.
I love the sun ... the hotter the better!Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Amey, feel better soon my love x
I was more annoyed as I double checked the day before that they were definitely coming, and they said they were (and also seemed quite keen!). I shall not be giving them a second chance as reliability and punctuality are the biggest things I need![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

morning all
boys decluttered to work and school.
dry here at the mo but sky looks very heavy and a funny colour it looks like snow to me but we are threatened with a downpour today. going shops now so whatever happens im in then till work.
we did get given the phone tree update yesterday incase of snow closures so that means it wont happen.
feisty, even if something desperately vital happened a text or phone call explaining things is the minimum of politeness. hope you find someone suitable very soon.
Amey (and any other poorlies) hope you feel better soon
hugs good wishes and [positive vibes to all who need/want them.
hope weekend weather isnt as bad as threatened and you all manage to stay dry and safe and have something nice in your weekend.SPC~12 ot 124

morning again......where does the time go?
What a lot of sickness about too, Amey and all other poorlies hope you get well quickly.
All you lovely cake decorators and makers, take heart, my family/friends appreciate me NOT making them, lol, in fact it is hilarious watching faces when I offer.
January is a long, expensive, miserable and cold month, I need to cheer myself up! er, without spending money, that is.
Yesterday I made two dining chair covers out of an odd curtain I had, just the right colour for the conservatory, too, very proud of them, (I may have an exhibition day).
I need to go out today, my phone has stopped working, I have letters to post, and deliver, and the bread goblins have emptied the bread bin again, but it is soooo cold, I willfeel like I am in the arctic!
Feisty, people who let you down once will make it a habit if given the opportunity.
Glad the trip was a belter, Nanamia, photos? xxx0 -
I'm fed up. It's cold and wet and I've had enough.
I'm fed up of working with people who have money and spend it on silly things. Yesterday I commented that I was buying a new saucepan for £15 from Argos, and someone else commented how cheap that was as her saucepan set cost £180.
After paying for the car and Dds glasses this week £15 is not cheap to me. It is £15 I could have done without spending.
Moan over, back to work .:mad:0 -
they are probably jealous that you are more sensible and careful with your money. i hope things pick up for you very soon and you have a nice bit spare for yourself instead of bills coming to grab it off you all the time.
just been tesco for milk and marg and forgot the coffee!! i did find a couple of packs of cappuchino in the cupboard so ill have one of them to warm up after my walk. note to self after nagging DS to wear his coat for school why did i decide to do a 1 mile walk to the shops bare legged? going to swap my skirt for trousers before work its freezing out thereSPC~12 ot 124
