Freespirit- good on ya for the photo purge! You are right-the muffins are DISGUSTING!! But on the plus side I did SW beefburger with a blue cheese laughing cow light triangle cheese in the middle and it was very nice with a small portion of SW chips. Im going to have some SW ice cream (muller light yoghurt with frozen fruits) later if I get peckish. I love this diet cus I don't feel hungry! Not like WW when I was so hungry I could have eaten a small horse and then a snickers on top!!

Oh the SW chips are great arent they, you did make me giggle then a snickers on top :rotfl:

Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling. Take time to breathe, unwind: yoga, meditation, listening to music, reading a book - time on your own. Freespirit66 I did stay up for the boots sale as I really couldn't face going into the store after reading the horror stories about the sale. I did ok however I didn't get everything I wanted, the website is a nightmare, I don't think I will bother in the future, it was hard work lol!
BBTHREE How thoughtful of your DD your soak sounded bliss.
A big wave to Nanamia thinking of you

Quidsy I think I've requested to join the FB group. Please let me know if I've not ha xxx
Nic I'm delighted to hear how well you and DH have being doing with the tesco vouchers. Well done, they couldn't have come at a better time could they :) Long may it continue xxx
Murie congratulations on your weight loss woo hoo :) I'm afraid my haircut is the same old same old. Ha. I'm very lazy and low maintance, almost a short back and sides. I absolutely hate hairdressers (shop not the person) so the last few months I've had a mobile service. She has a salon in her conservatory at home and does mobile too. She's related to DDs MiL, and I get on ok with her so it's a bit easier for me. When she comes I book for the next appointment 6 weeks later or else I'd never bother to be honest!!! Never dye my hair either, way too lazy for that. I am a Nana, I'm growing old disgracefully :) Although today I did help DD do "ombr!" to her hair, we did giggle, but I'm full of yuck so I moaned a lot too haha. Phaffing and fussing about ! Making me watch endless demos on YouTube! But it looks lovely now it's done xxx
Kellyhghs thank you for the heads up on Claire's, I'm going to pop over shortly and have a look. You know the delurking rules, now you are out :) X
Arthein well done on your bargains. As our Caitlyn says I'm delighted they've gone to a good home. There was nothing at all worth having at my tesco :( xxx
Ruth not at all! I'm a slow reader and think of it as my treat. I don't smoke or drink so I can have a kindle book every few weeks, lots of them are free or pennies aren't they :) I'd much rather have one that's been recommended especially when we like a similar style, takes the hassle out of it for me (told you I really am that lazy) You knacker me out with the talk of your excersise, you are so good :) I'm glad you enjoyed yesterday's trip to the theatre. I'm looking forward to ours now, if a little scared! Sshh don't tell DD. We go on Tuesday :) Manchester to Euston arriving around lunchtime, then tube to Waterloo, travel lodge London Central then the theatre for the bodyguard (woo hoo fav film) home Wednesday leaving at lunchtime. Basically 24 hrs in London. I think we are planning to go to see Trafalgar Square before the theatre any advice? xxx (not much walking cos of DH) xxx
Linky happy clean carpet :) oh the joys of a dog. That is one of the things I don't miss since we lost ours. How calm was your friend? Crazy lady, have you managed to get hold of her? sending best wishes xxx
Mandco aww bless your LO, only two. No wonder it's very different without him. DGD2 creases me she really does. She stayed with us Friday when DD was working and she wasn't well enough for nursery, Monday still had the cough but was well in herself so DD took her in, she (DD) explained that if she wasn't well to let the teacher know and Nana would come and get her. She was fine and has improved as the weeks gone on but keeps mentioning that she hasn't rang for Nana yet haha like she's holding on to it in lue bless her. "Still haven't rang Nan yet you know!" the way there little minds work :) xxx
BBTHREE had a little chuckle at the thought of your DD buttering you up. I'm intrigued now to know what's she's after :) Did you watch CBB ? Ooooh getting interesting isn't it :) And Emmerdale is hotting up looks like we'll get to see a bit more of Caine next week :) xxx
Freespirit yes please I'd love to see what's on your bucket list :) I'm just really one of those boring people who's never had the urge to travel etc. We went to South Africa in 2010 ( comp win for the World Cup) and I love Cape Town etc but we went up Table Mountain I'd i felt so ungrateful, it really did nothing for me at all. I know that makes me sound bad but I was grateful to be there with my DH etc etc just views etc are not my thing. I'm just a home bird, like my family and friends around me. Boring :( Thers just no hope for me is there! xxx

Hiya Baby Boo how are you doing? I love it when we bump into each other. Night owls aren't we :) xxx

JJ aka Festive Princess has had X-ray results today which unfortunately didn't shed any light on the problem. So they still don't know what's causing the trouble :( xxx

mrs moneypenny- mmn not sure they would melt too well because they are the 'light ' variety and those always seem to be less suitable for melting. They do taste nice although they don't have the creaminess of real stilton (which I love too).

OMO- want to do my carpet? I dread to think what it would be like as I know the state the hound comes home from the park in every day! I hope there's good news about your friend today and that DD has done ok in her exams x

Nanamia- DDS are a pain when it comes to youtube tutorials aren't they? Apparently I have been applying blusher 'all wrong' for the last 30 years according to DD and youtube! (how am I even let out on my own I wonder??? lol!) I'm also a homebody and feel happiest when I'm surrounded by my family at home. I don't like holidays and when we do go I (mostly) enjoy it but cant wait to get back home!

Please send JJ my best wishes when you contact her.

Freespirit- I'm not joking about ww and being hungry! I lost 3 and half stone but I STARVED for 7 months! I was a miserable moo (more so than usual!) and even I didn't want to be in my own company! All my family said that I was beginning to look as If I had lost too much weight but according to WW I still had another one and half stone to lose before I got to target! Needless to say I stopped going and a good chunk of what I had lost piled back on over the last 9 years. I have dieted in between (including ww for a while) but SW seems to be working for me now. I have lost one and half stone since end of October which is a nice steady amount I think. What I'm trying to say in all my waffle, is that SW is a good diet for people with (ahem!) 'healthy' appetites like me! I think you said you had tried it before so you probably know. My Sis tried the 5:2 diet and stuck at it for 2 months ( hospital recommended it!) and lost all of .............6lb! She was miserable on it. I think it all depends on how determined we are about losing weight as to how successful any diet is. Right -I'm gonna shut up now!

Btw- why cant I post emoticons??

(makes me laugh when it says 'post quick reply' and I have written an essay!!!)

I'm totally with you on SW. It's the only way I have lost weight and still felt full and not deprived, I don't do well when I can't have things I like. I started back on it after Christmas and have lost 6lb. I lost 3 stone before and was doing well until I had DD.
I've tried Scottish slimmers and WW and was also starving on them. I would go to bed early because I was so hungry and used up all my points.
I have never felt so healthy as when I do SW, all that fruit and veg. Ie tried just healthy eating, so salads and lots of fruit and veg, but I got bored. Goodluck with your weight loss, x

    Omg.

I just got a text from one of best friends-

Hi, just letting you know I am in hospital. I had a heart attack on Monday. Am hoping to be home by the end of the week. Take care xx

She has had the heart attack and she's telling me to take care

I am just trying to get in contact with her husband to find out what's going on.

I hope your friend recovers soon.
