    Evening!

OH's PDA finally sold at £167:j :j :j :j :j and sold another 2 items worth £7 and they are collecting this week:D It has been a good week this! Dont feel bad about the indian tonight now:p

Downstairs has been moped, wine in the fridge for SIL (she's a fussy cow and only likes 1 wine!), we all prefer red:D Have some cheese left from france so will have that later for afters and will use my posh cheese board with me mam bought me and have not used yet:o

Friend dropped a photo off today of DD and her mates at the beach a couple of weeks ago. Its a lovely picture and she even framed it for me...how money saving is that! Its good to have nice mates:D

I have decided to join the competition thread and see if I can win back my HSA dd's each month as I get my BB free anyway. This would total £232pa..about £21 a month. I started filling the comps in yesterday and have given myself 20 mins in the evening to do which ones I want:confused: ...is that enough?

Right, Id better go as BIL/SIL will be here any minute and I need a wee:eek:

    Hugs to all

Many Happy Returns to Meanmarie & Miss Pink

Horrible nasty weather here today, appears to have stopped raining now but everywhere is very wet.

France and Belgium was good yesterday - even had some sun. Stocked up on smelly cheese.

Today we decided to go and see the advanced screening of Shrek the third. Was good kids loved it but I didnt think it was as good as the others.

Have done very little housework and washing this weekend (wouldnt have been able to dry it anyway). So will be starting again tomorrow, need to get PC man round to do my wireless network and set up some files he has missed from the old laptop. Am slowly getting my head round Vista but it will take some time to get used to.

PP - you have reminded me, I really need to get some more stuff on ebay - can only deal with listing about 3 things in one go though.

OH is just about to cooked poached eggs which we are having with ham so will continue chillin.

Enjoy the last bit of the weekend.

    Hi

Happy Birthday MeanMarie, and Miss Pink.

    AussieLass Glad you're home safely!

I've had quite a productive weekend.Yesterday I managed to write out my threshold application, so I just need to type it up for my Headteacher.

This morning I went to church with the girls and taught Sunday School and we all got soaked walking/running home in the rain! Then I made some lovely banana flapjacks, did a huge pile of ironing, sorted out uniforms for the morning, did some school planning, made the packed lunches, watched Eastenders and made Toad-in-the hole for tea.

I just need to write out my meal plan and write a shopping list for the morning. I didn't go near the shops last week as I was working but I'm only in work from Wednesday to Friday this week so I need to do a big shop.
    Have a good evening!

Well we have had our roast chicken dinner I forgot to do the stuffing, but never mind, it will do for tomorrow.

I thought OH's lap top was going to give out earlier, but it seems ok now, just in case I have spent the last 2 hours backing stuff onto disc for him, I wish he would learn to do it for himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its getting dark, rained on and off all day, pretty miserable really, was not able to do the tea bread, no eggs, so the fruit is in the fridge till tomorrow. I have a trip to the charity shop to disperse the last of the dresser booty, it is now empty..........ready for its trip to its new owner tomorrow afternoon.

Feeling tired, not sure why, I haven't really done anything today. Living in the apartment means I do not have so much housework to do, no stairs to clean etc......and only one bedroom, its very compact, I can clean it right through in an hour including the windows..............the kitchen floor takes just 2 minutes, compared to half an hour for the dining kitchen in the house. I seem to be sitting quite a bit, I need to motivate myself.............get a bit more sewing done.

DD & SIL due back from Turkey in the morning, hope to get the pine wall unit up sometime when DD has a spare few minutes, then AT LAST the place will be finished.

I have misplaced a white pasta bowl and its salad bowl, cannot find them anywhere, I am sure I did not take them to the charity shop........I use them when DD & DGC come and we have tomato pasta.........I looked in all the places it could have/should have been, but its done a disappearing act, it must be here somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some time ago I bought a Royal Doulton (no it does not have hand painted perewinkles on it) combined dinner and tea service from the charity shop, it is complete apart from the tea plates, I have 1, so keeping an eye on ebay to see if any come up. I did look at china search, but they only had 1 and wanted £8!!!!!!!!!! for it.....no way!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its time I got myself a cuppa.....................see y'all later.............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

H-H I watched Shirley Bassey too, hope I look half as good at 70, not only that she got the crowd with her and communicated with the youngsters. Brilliant.

Stupid estate agents have put a board outside our house last Monday - advertised in local newspaper on Friday- our house appears on right move!

    So what is the problem?

The stupid ***** have not put it on THEIR website - they have next door's house which from the outside looks identical to ours and is marked on the website as "under offer!"

It seems to be beyond their comprehension that there could be two houses both for sale next door to each other!!!

We have only had one time waster come to see the house and that was because they saw the board outside the house.

I phoned yesterday morning and by 5p.m there was no change on their website so i e-mailed them saying how disappointed I was with their "service!"

I will not be holding my breath waiting for an answer but I will be checking their website every day and phoning their manager to complain bitterly if this is not sorted out as we have "lost " the first week our house was up for sale!

Hugs to everyone feeling poorly and sorry to be such a bad tempered old bat!

Going to take 18 year old shopping for dress for "leaver's ball tomorrow so that should cheer me up.
