YAYI have just ordered my shopping from Tesco and saved £6.01
If you order more than £25 of shopping there is a code to get £10 off, so havng taken off the £3.99 delivery charge I made a profit out of Mr T. I found the discount code on the MS Tesco thread. I have ordered some meat but by no means all, so a quick trip to Mr T's in the week, I do like to by my own meat.
Just had a cheese and sauce sandwich for lunch with strawberries and yogurt.........spent most of the morning catching up with money type things and doing my monthly menu plan, hence the Tesco order..........
Just going to sort out the crumble for supper and a tea bread, to bake whilst the chicken cooks. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Afternoon all, hope you are all well
It seems every time I post on here now it's with bad news! Found out on Friday that our lovely little cottage which I adore...has got galloping rising damp. The laminate in the living room is beginning to curl and there is damp half way up the stud wall between the living room and the dining room (I live in a two up-two down), which leads us to believe there is no damp proofing in the house at all.
The landlord is coming round to look at it this evening but we rang a few damp proofing specialists just to see what the score was and the general consensus is that the whole floor is going to have to come up and be re-done properly. So that's a bit of a !!!!!!! Anyway well see what happens. If landlord can afford to have the work done, we will probably live in a caravan for a while, if not...who knows. I must be quite stressed about it because I'm back to having horrendous nightmares again.
Other than that, everything is good. Work is going really well (especially after we forced our Workshop Manager to leave) and life's just continuing as normal (uh...remind me what normal is again?!).
Right, I'm off to clean the house. Dinner is Toad in the Hole with mash, veg and onion gravy.
Have a good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Afternoon all
Thanks for mentioning that Mr T code Csarina - just made an order with some of the bogofs that I use, the whole lot after discount and bogofs come off is costing me just £11.25 including delivery :j
DD2 is very poorly today - she's being refered to the ENT people as her ear drum is about to explode, the other is very blocked and her tonsils are infected again, she's got to see our regular GP tomorrow to see if he wants to try and clear her ear out a bit - hope not though - I remember having it done when I was her age and it hurt.
DH has taken DD1 out - supposedly to check on a friends house but I'm sure it's the last minute dash to get me a birthday pressie for tomorrow - honestly you'd think I sprung it on him every year. Men eh!
Roast chicken and all the trimmings for dinner tonight - DD2 just wants yorkshire pudding and gravy - bless her - know she's not right when she's off her food.
Hope you all have a great evening."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Afternoon all
The little girl who stayed over has just left with dd who is probably going to stay there for an hour or two. They spent ages setting up tents and filling them with teddies, sleeping bags, pillows and duvets and then after five minutes came running back in. The little girl is sweet but hard work and lives on a diet consisting of curly fries and cheese judging by the way she turned her nose up at everything offered. I made quesadillas for them for the first time ever but she refused to have anything other than cheese in hers - anyone want half a tin of refried beans.
I still have a ton of work to do and have restarted decorating the stairs as well as catching up with the flylady list which is going to all come round again if I'm not careful. The washing machine played a trick on me this morning by suddenly coming to life but then - alas - died again
have a good dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Not sure he will want to syringe her ear if it's that badly infected - dd used to explode hers about 6 times a year and was never once syringed even if we did catch it before it burst - poor thing an ear infection hurts like crazy
bl**dy hell - the kids are back - seems that the little girl's mum and dad went out even though they were expecting her back at this time - niceI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Good afternoon everyone,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEANMARIE AND MISS PINK xxx
Didnt get chance to post yesterday, got up late, and had quite a few things to do before dropping DS off at a party he was going to, and then DD and i did some girly shopping. We then went back to where DS was at his friends party, as the friends parents were holding a BBQ for all of us, and we had a brilliant time - lots of lovely food, drink and company!!!
Got home around 2am, feeling fine, but i did feel a tad delicate this morning when i woke up, so ive been taking it really easy today. I have done 3 loads of washing tho (including my bedding) and i have one more load to do - it brightened up a bit earlier, so ive been able to hang some outside, but my house is still looking like a chinese laundry! Its also starting to look a bit dark outside again, so might keep the last load for tomorrow, im running out of drying space.
Dinner tonight is an easy roast - ive taken out some roast duck and gravey that was in the freezer, so that just needs warming up, and im cheating with the potatoes, found some potato wedges in butter and herbs reduced to 20p a pack in Mr Ts yesterday, so just need to bung them in the oven and leave them! Def my sort of roast today.
Right, think im going to pick my washing in before it get rained apon, have a lovely afternoon everyone.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Hopee everyones sunday is going better than mine?!?2014 = New Year, New Me0 -
Hi again,
((((hugs))) to everyone with sore throats, swollen eyes, tonsilitis, or anything else that is making you miserable.
The Farmers' Market was fantastic though I did spend about £20 or so. Still, I felt good knowing I was doing something for the local economy. DS, DD and I had loads of free samples - cheese, chutney, biscuits, bread, burgers, sausages, jams, tea.
I bought organic veal escalopes (I know, I know, veal is frowned upon but this was organic so I justified it to myself). It was costly but it is sooooo long since I had it that I just couldn't refuse. So, I'm planning to make veal marsala tonight with lots of veg. Also got two different types of cheese, chorizo, mushrooms, a spicy sweet mango chutney, falafels, ginger biscuits, spicy lentils with mushrooms, ermmmm can't quite remember what else.
Highlight for DD was holding a beautiful owl. A local bird sanctuary was offering the chance to hold an old for a 50p donation. DD now has three photos on her mobile of the event.
Lazy afternoon since we got back but I'm organised for tomorrow so don't feel too guilty. All in all a good weekend."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
