I used Asda delivery service once after I'd had an operation and couldn't get out. It wasn't an experience I am likely to repeat.

I haven't read the whole thread. I like Asda and I don't usually have to wait long to pay for my groceries.

It's a different story though at the George department, the queue is quite often long, they have 6 tills, but you never see anymore than 2 assistants on at any one time!

I was talking to a woman behind me in the George queue just before Christmas and she said they won't employ anymore staff and apparently shoplifting from the George department is rife because they won't employ changing room attendants.

Theft from supermarkets is rife full stop.
