Yes I have been flicking over to check the rugby scores and saw that England are ahead. Must admit I am not a rugby fan at all! And isn't it the world cup this Summer so footballs everywhere and loads of comps requiring us to 'predict the score between....', 'who will be first to score during the following match....'! Doh ! I am rubbish at those comps! We are going in May Sheils, Fred's DD2 and partner are coming up to our and having a holiday so it has worked out well. Its a shame when some girls left out at dances and glad you DD has confidence.

Glad you enjoyed the wine firefly. Had to ring Fred's DD to ask about how to explain the homework. I knew how to do it but they work it out so differently now a days. Anyway all done and dusted for another week and money in the money box for her. I only give it her if she completes it all.

Yes. it is always cold in Edinburgh but supposed to be dry tomorrow afternoon and Monday which is when we will be there. Going to enjoy myself anyway - haven't stayed in Edinburgh for ages. Got a swimming pool at one of the hotels I think (must check).
DDs boyfriend is a rugby player so he is trying to teach her the rules :rotfl: He isn't happy about the match. No-one in our house takes an interest in rugby which is maybe just as well as DH is from Widnes.

my son played for dalziel and scotland under 21s but when he left uni and went to navy he gave it up but still plays occasionally for recreation with a naval team now he is of the surface ships and on the subs he doesnt have time to train0
