You're right Sylvia...I've been into town with the girls for a bit of retail therapy! The kids had money to spend so they all got themselves clothes they liked :) Son went to pics and into town with lots of friends and bought himself a top for £30 out of his bday money. He has expensive taste for a 12 yr old! :p
Well done getting a holiday :T Won't be long now :)

Sheils, I loved your DD's dress! She looked lovely :)

BlueBella...you do know Tom D is batting for the other team? No harm in looking though! :D

Hope the squirrels and animals have been ok fire**fly where you are. Great pics! :)

Have a good evening all and be lucky on the lotto!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Love the pic wingobins! Yes, shame about Tom - I love seeing his little trunks but it kind of makes me think differently about what is under them if you know what I mean!!!! :D Like, if I look at a pic of David Beckham in briefs I think naughty thoughts but when I look at Tom in briefs I just think of them flicking off when he does a dive and it makes me giggle. He is lovely though - nice to see a young star not into drugs and swearing or getting on the front page for all the wrong reasons .... em like a certain Justin Bieber! :P

Love the pic Wingo and glad you have had a good day with the kids. They have expensive taste at an early age now don't you think.

Off to bed soon. My comping is suffering a bit at the moment with spending time with GK's and fixing the TV/booking holidays etc. Will have to get a grip tomorrow.

    Have a nice evening everyone.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Good Morning,

Dry here at the moment FF but supposed to rain off and on for next few days at least I think. Edinburgh has a better forecast for today and tomorrow with just some showers in the afternoon I think and rain on Tuesday, when we will just come home. We are using this trip as an early Valentines treat so will be eating/drinking out a lot! Next Edinburgh trip is for my birthday next month.
Want to go and see "Sherlock Holmes" statue while we are away, for some reason we have never seen it although we have stayed near where it is. Think it was moved while they were doing the trams. DH wants to investigate the canal walks near the Novotel tomorrow too.
Hope everyone has a luck time - will hear about your wins on Tuesday if I don't get in while away. Should get free WIFI in Holiday Inn but don't think we do in Novotel .

sheils6 - I am sure you will have a fabulous time - enjoy your early valentine's treats and fingers crossed the weather stays fine so you can enjoy your canal walks! I love walking by canals and seeing all the pretty little canal boats! My dad has a fishing boat and my brother has a yacht and I live by the sea so I grew up seeing boats and walking by water! When I was younger we also had holidays in canal boats on The Norfolk and Suffolk broads and also the Caledonian Canal! Such peaceful holidays with loads of wildlife to see - have a lovely time! :)
