Hey everyone. Long time no type. Nothing much new with me. Dex is getting big...and cheeky! M.E is being a pain in the preverbial and I have more blood tests next week as GP thinks the Glandular Fever I had has been "reactivated" as my spleen is swollen as are my glands. Woopdedo.

Anyway, on a positive note, I finally got the macro lens I wanted and I've upgraded my beloved Nikon D40 to a Nikon D80.

My HomeStart volunteer comes and takes me out when I'm well enough and will wheel my around the village to take photos. It sounds mundane but it gets me out and I get to take photos.

I hope you're all well and have been winning lots. I'll try and pop in more often as I miss you all. I just sometimes forget to come in here!

Hi BlueBella, nice to see you popping in. You aren't allowed to spill wine though especially when I haven't got a glass. DH has to go and pick DD and her friend up from the dance so as he can't have a drink ......

Great news regarding your volunteer! Let's just hope the weather improves so you can get out and about to take some photos! I have noticed a lot of snow drops starting to appear but no daffodils yet! Roll on Spring!

The weather has been terrible here in Somerset! Luckily not so bad where we are but not too far away it's horrendous!

Spring is my favourite season because all the flowers start to appear. I like Autumn too because of all the beautiful colours.

We have managed to get the TV set up but not the You View Box yet as I need different connectors so will have to wait until we go out again but have set up our freestat box we had. We are really pleased with it, its fab.

Forgot to mention that we book a holiday today. We are going Ibiza as we haven't been there before and got a good deal. Yes we check the reviews Sheils and they all seemed good. We booked with a travel agent to save the hassle of printing ticket/boarding passes etc.


Got quite a few comps done tonight but off to bed now.

Good Morning,

Expecting it to be wet all day today but have loads to do anyway.
Plumber coming about 11am to look at our jobs I think. He is finishing a job somewhere else first.

Have been to Ibiza 3 times but last time was about 12 years ago. I really must make up my mind if we should risk going abroad even if it is just for a week. Once we have a new boiler I might feel more confident. Always scared our one breaks down when we go away.

Glad you like your new TV. We don't have any of these view boxes - not sure exactly what they all do TBH.:o
Will find a link for a pic DD and add it at the bottom of here. Had bother accessing my pics last night and finished up restoring the lappie to a few days earlier. Windows 8 seems to be so difficult to work out sometimes.

Can't remember the TVs looking quite like that FF but then our family were quite poor and we didn't have one when I was little. Funny to think peeps used to rent them in those days.
