Has anyone ever been on one of the Vegas organised bar crawls? We would like to get an idea of the nightlife without aimlessly wondering where to go and waiting in line for hours on end.....

    Any companies you can recommend?

5 weeks today and I'll be there :j

Don't forget the clocks changed in the US yesterday so 7am in LV is now 2pm UK (until 30th March).

We used the Tender Myvegas last year (after Criss Angel) and really enjoyed it. Steaks were lovely and I have a side of lobster risotto which was absolutely gorgeous.

oh......well...that might explain it! Thanks! what a numpty I am...I even set an alarm to remind me it was coming up on 3pm and sat there for about 30 minutes trying...

And lobster risotto sounds like just my thing...this is where we get into difficulty with sides...I would not be able to choose between mac & cheese and lobster risotto so would just get both as 'we're on holiday!' and leave most of both of them. It's terrible.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Its a long time since I signed up but I think I put my address in, but with a las vegas post code 89109
I think that's what I did too, I seem to remember that the address you register with doesn't tie to your billing address... Or something like that, but it's been a while!

Thanks :T I ended up just putting down a US state and it went through ok. Bit annoying though that they don't just allow you to skip it!

    Evening All,

Is it just me or have the hotel codes dried up dramatically in the last year? We're looking to stay south strip for a week in early July and the Bellagio for the second week of August. We've got three weeks in between in Arizona and the penultimate week in Vegas is open at the moment but codes for the Bellagio are non-existent at the moment as far as I can see and I hate not getting some sort of deal on rooms. Am I just a wee bit early?

    Cheers,

not at all - we do that too :D plus, neither of them are "common sides" in the uk, so you have to make the most of it whilst you're there dont you ;)

as far as I'm aware, the Bellagio is always a bit of a rarity when it comes to codes :( there's usually a few knocking about (and i'd expect them by now), but definitely tougher to find than the rest of the MGM group. (Assume you're also keeping an eye on their twitter / facebook feeds?)

These are the most I'd usually expect to see knocking around for Bellagio...

    others may disagree tho :)

I managed to snag an offer on Groupon with RockstarVIP. Basically you meet at 1 bar, and then they take you to three night clubs over the course of the night, you don't get to choose the clubs but you get free drinks (beer or vodka and cranberry juice was our choices) on their limo bus, and get to enjoy three different clubs without worrying about lines or entry fees.

EDIT: I think this is the one

same kinda thing excluding the day buss pass you get with the above:

Usual cost for the tours is $40 each.
We did it back in 2011, we started in CP I think, 2 for 1 drinks, get on party bus with free booze (limited choice), remember we ended up in LAX as its the easiest option for the host...

Worth doing for the experience, thinking about doing it again this year! :D

Thanks NVH - We've always managed to get some sort of deal for the Bellagio in the past but there's nothing out there at the moment. Ideally looking to hit something around the $140 (weekday) mark for a decent fountain viewing room but this is looking pretty optimistic now. I've promised it so will just have to bite the bullet if it comes to it.

I've purchase the "2 tickets to Zarkana" reward from MyVegas. Does anyone know if there's a way of redeeming other than by telephone please? I suspect that calling from the UK will turn out to be very expensive. I go on Monday (for a week) and I'm wondering if my other option would be to go to the MLife desk when I get there and see if they can sort it out for me.

Thanks in advance of any assistance.
