it depends on what tier you are - even 7 stars is only $125 TR/$100...gold/platinum is $200 TR / $100.

Not sure whether you have to play it through a certain number of times or not.
Thanks for that ferf. I thought I'd read something like that before. Will look to get a meal and drink from it so and save on the tax0 -

I just assumed it was like for like. Yes, best spent on food or drinks (or even better at happy hour!).
We had drinks at Heart Bar in PH and they were reasonable - $6 for a beer or Mike's Hard Lemonade. Indigo Bar was $14 for a vodka! I don't know if it was Indigo being expensive or spirits being expensive. I'm not keen on spirits anyway so I was happy to see the Mike's Hard Lemonade there.0 -
I just got back today from the Venetian  and I can tell you that the pools are amazing. There is the party pool, which always looks packed or the main Venetian pool, which was busy when we were there. We always went to a pool in between the Venetian and the Palazzo, which was quieter. You could still hear the music from the main pool but there weren't as many people there. That pool is shallow (2 feet?) at both ends going to 3'6" in the middle. The beds are comfortable, you collect towels on the way in. There are water fountains dotted around but if you're thinking of hiring a cabana, they're $300 a day.
Thanks for that, is the $300 for a cabana a Monday to Thursday price? Do you know what you get for that? And are these round the main pool?0 -

Well not even done a trip report from our last trip Aug/Sept and OH has booked us another LV trip, going in less than 7 weeks!!
Flights options were terrible particularly BA who only did 2stops going and coming back 1hour to get through Heathrow and then you had to make your own way to Gatwick for the flight to Manchester!!
Most of us would prefer a direct flight but there is hardly any in the winter months why I don't know as there is a definite market for it.
Anyway we are going with AA via Chicago which is what we did last October and they were fine, got about 3/4 hours between connecting flights which is good.Staying again at TI as I really like this hotel could be its close proximity to Fashion Show Mall!!
Will try to be a bit more savvy with the taxi driver though because when we arrived in Aug the driver asked us which way we wanted to go so we said the quickest,$38 later we got to Mirage.,the same trip to airport $18!!!
Iincase I don't get to do a trip report can I just say the myvegas rewards we used:
Breakfast buffet @mirage: this was excellent,it should have cost $35 each because it the the Labor Day special and they let us use it anyway the champagne was flowing.
Breakfast buffet @ Bellagio:rubbish, tired decor, boring food not a lot of choice, would not pay for this one.
Dinner @Aria: really disappointed with this as we has done it last year and loved it,this time there seemed to be little choice and the food was not hot and didn't seem to be replaced quickly, again would not pay for this one.
Now I am playing like mad to try and get some for this trip, already got breakfast at MGM which we have done before so will see what it's like now and then whatever else there is for those of us who are not staying at an MGM property!0 -

Economy seats are 25000 Avios each way (+taxes)
Premium economy are 37500 Avios each way (+taxes)
Business seats are 50000 Avios each way (+taxes)
First are 75000 Avios each way (+taxes)
You pay extra to pre-book seats unless a BA gold card holder or travelling first class.
All these avios bookings include luggage allowance.
Note per person each way. So 2 travelling return in business will be 200,000 Avios + taxes.
Can be worth looking to pay for premium economy with real £££ and use Avios to upgrade. That would cost you £££ + 50000 Avios for 2 people return.
Another option is to get the british airways american express card, that gives you a 2 for 1 voucher for avios bookings once you have met the spend requirement (£20,000 or £10,000 depending on which card you choose).

We are sat in Costa Coffee at T3 Manchester waiting for our flight to LV via PHL. Half an hour to boarding.
Had what could have been a bad start. We slept in and had to rush like mad to get to the train station. Luckily we always book the taxi much earlier than we need to, so we caught the train with time to spare. It just meant that Tony didn't have as much time to do his hair.0 -

I'm sorry but I can't remember what day it was I asked about a price. I have a strong feeling that it was a weekday. You get the cabana, which has a tv in it, plus 4 (I think) reserved beds in front of the cabana. They're round the main pool, plus some round the other pools as well. The ones round the main pool and some of the others aren't directly on the pool and have some other lines of sunbeds in between the cabana and the pool.
I can't say what else might be included as there was no way we were paying $300 for the two of us0 -
Just back from 3nts of madness.
Route out was an Ex-EU flight from Dub so I went LHR>DUB>LHR>LAS in one day which was a bit of fun.
Only went hand luggage and bagged row 28 on BA flight out of LHR so I had landed and checked in @ Monte Carlo inside 45mins which is pretty impressive.
Made my first ever trip to the Northern Outlet and came back with $700 of stuff. Some absolutely ridiculous bargains were had.
Also made a first trip to Battlefield Vegas which was absurd - I've discovered I'm a crack shot it seems!
We had a steak @ Smith and Wollenskys - very very good.
The rest of the weekend was an absolute blur as always.........pretty happy with 3nts as well. Don't think its too far to go for that short of a weekend as for me its only ever about Friday and Saturday night out there with the buzz that comes with it.0
