I have a question actually. Or some advice to ask, to be more precise.
We're thinking about booking a spa suite at NYNY but having seen some reviews, I'm not sure. The spa room for our stay (9 nights) is £1650 on lowcostusa.
i just stuck the dates into Trivago and a Deluxe Suite at the Venetian comes in at £1737... is that a possibility?0 -
Well, we got back yesterday and are now thoroughly depressed.
We absolutely LOVED Vegas and cannot wait to go back.
I'll do a trip report soon, although I doubt it will have anything new in there for anyone here, as we were Vegas newbies.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread. The knowledge I gained from reading here really helped make the holiday, and my OH was very impressed with my Vegas knowledge.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

From the look of the website, that's plus resort fee, which puts us well over our budget. I think we're going to go with the Flamingo. I'm excited about the Flamingo0 -

Welcome back! It is sad to come home from Vegas but you can start planning another trip.
I do hope you will post a trip report...sometimes the first trip reports are the most interesting...and sometimes newbies notice something others have missed...and anyway trip reports are great fun for us to read between the last trip and the next!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Also, would it be worth checking / using priceline express like I did? It's quite obvious which is Venetian / Palazzo - see here:

Resort fee at Venetian / Palazzo is (or was!) optional

Unfortunately not optional now. nvh - do you have some days at Venetian/Palazzo very soon?
Last year when we checked in it wasn't mentioned. We then noticed the resort fee racking up on our account on the tv. I called the front desk to explain that when I booked there was no resort fee, so that as I was on a non-cancellable (priceline) rate, I was being disadvantaged due to not being able to cancel when new fees were added. They finally agreed with me and removed it, however it was quite a discussion I had to have to get to that point. I'd be doubtful they'd waive it now.0 -
Staying at the MGM Signature. Any idea on resort fees and where is the best place to have breakfast? Thanks:)0

There's a coffee shop in one of the towers you could have breakfast at. Or the long walk to the MGM and the food court or something classier.illegitimi non carborundum0
