I would always try to check in online as soon as possible...one of the Virgin check-in people at LAS once told us that once you check in online it's virtually impossible for your seat to be reallocated unless there is an aircraft change or something major...until then, she said, it was possible that pre-selected seats might be shifted around.

Seating is one of the things that I get stressed about so I always check in online as soon as possible...but that's just me.

But if you are flying tomorrow isn't check in open now?

Have a great trip and cannot wait to hear about it!

maybe it's coincidence but that would (I think) be one for each of you within a calendar year? As if I didn't already have trouble understanding this programme. :)

In any event, we're going to try a test case with the MC $50 dining credit, we think...we have both had it before and thought we could not get it again. I don't think that the points needed has changed though...I would have to look back to see for sure but if not then maybe we will be knocked back.
Ferf, we are cheap, so always go for the single buffet and get one each, so effectively we get two per calendar year per person.

I have been trying to get the Monte Carlo $50 but have had no luck so far.

We're cheap too but we only have 3 each as we never bought any coins so we usually go for the 2 buffets option as it means we can get more rewards in a trip, if that makes sense.

We have been lucky to each get the MC $50 before, I think - will see if we can manage to do it again...hubby has 2 Aria dinners and 2 Mirage breakfasts already and not really sure what else we might use our points for as we don't really want to lock in too many meals. We actually considered Zumanity. We don't expect to like it but wonder if it will be like Criss Angel where we went it with less than no expectations and actually enjoyed it. :)

We have 3 each too, but with careful management on our long trip we can redeem 5 or 6. I usually get 6 each and just get a refund on any unused ones.

Might do the $25 at NFI and/or the BOGO Entree next time.

For anyone using myvegas rewards for show tickets, hubby and dad got standard free tickets for Love each. We only booked the week before we went for the Friday night. When they got in to the theatre they were moved to the front row so that was quite a result! They said it was a really good show too.

I didn't use any for buffets as we had $100 a night resort credit at Aria and free buffets at the Wynn but I thought Aria buffet was actually quite good for dinner. I was very disappointed by the Cosmopolitan buffet this time for lunch. However, I thought Caesars was excellent for lunch so if you don't want too many buffets I'd pay at Caesars and use myvegas for something else.

that is a good upgrade for Love - but having seen the show from the first row and the back row...I would go with the latter as we really felt like we missed a lot of the splendor being so close.

I really like the Aria buffet, lunch or dinner...I am looking forward to it. I liked some things about Cosmo's buffet but it's kind of off the list now...there are others we like more and we have so many 'favourites' we always leave some out each trip and if we do too many buffets then we get around to even less of them.

I would really like to try Caesars but hubby refuses to spend that much on a buffet and the times we have walked by we could not see a queue for platinum TR members - only Diamond and 7Stars - and the queues always seem to be huge...and so it's right out for him...one of these days I will figure out a way around it. :)

We went in a Thursday at about 2pm and there was no queue for lunch at Caesars. I think it was $30 something but the choice was excellent.

I used to love the Cosmo but this time I felt they'd cut back on a lot of things eg no potato gratin, no decent Asian stuff, no macaroons for dessert etc.

You should try CP buffet it is great! being the cheapskates we are, we had a $5 off voucher for breakfast, we went in about 2 minutes before breakfast closed and had lunch, I cant remember the cost but maybe about $30 for the 2 of us :T, some of the best food we have ever had at a buffet

Just over 3 weeks to go for us. Just found out that our flights have changed and we now have an 8 hour lay over in Chicago :-( so may take the train in as my daughter who is coming with us has never been to Chicago before.
Finally bit the bullet last night and booked Michael Jackson - One for our last night in Vegas.
So we now have Zumanity / Jabawockeez / KA via MyVegas with the HOB VIP card for access to Foundation room and 50% off Gospel brunch (did that last year and loved it). Also have the MB Buffet for Dinner.
Booked the Muscle car challenge so that's all sorted.
Thinking of spending an evening at Hofbrauhaus but getting a little put off by some of the reviews about cost :-( anyone on here been before ?
We will be driving to Bryce Canyon by way of Zion again on one day (we went to Zion on the way back last year and was blinded by the sun all along the drive so going the other way round this time.
My daughter also wants to go out to Calico and we have not been for years so will go there and then hit the Primm outlets on the way back.
Fair FX cards are loaded for lots of shopping.

If you have time, I'd suggest not just driving through on UT9 (wonderful though that is) but also park at the visitor centre and take the free shuttle bus up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which is the main part of the park where in the summer private vehicles aren't allowed. Apologies if you already planned to do that, or won't have time to do it.
