Good score with the comp visit next time stoneman... I've passed your tripreport on to Mrs.NVH as I know she is concerned about the Muscle Car Challenge, plus she can pick through it for some more ideas! (as long as she doesn't get any pre-conceptions of Club / 1st :D ) Will certainly be pointing her to take a look at Bahama Breeze though. Hadn't really realised there was much down in that direction!

Pebbles - thanks for the heads-up re: Nocturne - I'll keep my eyes peeled for a refund, and bide my time re: a decision on retaining our R.R.L booking to see what comes up on the internet re: peoples views of the change! :)

Brilliant trip report, stoneman! Loved it - great detail, photos, everything.

I am most impressed by the 4x4 even if it wasn't animal style. I will add some of that cheese sauce to our shopping list next time.

Is it really the south outlets you guys like? This makes me feel better as I thought it was only me who liked the south version.

The experiences look awesome - one time we'll be there with someone who fancies a shooting experience sort of thing and I will come back and look this up. I would kind of like to do something like this one time but not sure my husband is that bothered about it.

And fantastic about the upgrade(s) - we might try BA if we could manage to skip all of the working up to any sort of status, but it sounds from what you say that it is easier on BA...maybe we will give it a try at some point.

Hmmm, probably a limited audience for this question (... SecretMachines :D )

Just seen that Nocturne @ Rose.Rabbit.Lie has shut down :(

We had tickets for next month (presume a refund will be forthcoming on that one!)

We had a restaurant booking @ Rose.Rabbit.Lie, my question is, is it worth bothering with the food now. I think you mentioned it was expensive and also that the show forms part of the whole experience.

    Thoughts?

just been reading about that, such a shame... though there are rumours that the show itself will be developing and moving elsewhere on the Strip.

having eaten the food, i would definitely go back even if it was just a restaurant... but it will lose something without the show being a part of the experience that's for sure.

i'm sure they'll replace it somehow, so would be worth keeping an eye on it to see what happens.

Cheers again Pebbles... just received this, so all tallies up:
    Good Afternoon,

Sorry we missed you. We called you today to inform you that the last performance of the show Vegas Nocturne was July 12. Our records show that you have tickets booked for a performance that was scheduled after this date, so we have fully refunded your purchase. A full refund will be applied back to your original form of payment. Please allow approximately five to seven business days for your refund to be processed.

Rose. Rabbit. Lie. will remain open and continue be an experience that blurs the lines between restaurant, bar, club and live entertainment. If you don’t already have a dinner reservation and would like to make one, please give us a call at 877-667-0585.

We apologize for the inconvenience this news may cause. Please feel free to reach out so that we may assist with any needs for an upcoming visit.

We are looking forward to seeing you here soon!

    Best,

    Rose. Rabbit. Lie. Concierge Team

was it you who was the big Kiss fan? Or have I got that wrong? May not suit due to timings but just in case.

Would recommend Fuddruckers in The Orleans for a nice burger, you can get a free shuttle bus from outside Ballys. One of the nicest burgers I ever had, the chips are wedges and are very nice as well, help yourself to the very very fresh salad, reasonable prices.

Thanks we just thought it was also be nice to have breakfast and cold drinks so if we just wanted a slow start we would not have to worry about rushing out and the non - smoking part is a big plus. :rotfl:

We often stay at MGM Signature as we also like a nice steady start to the day. Basically, wake up, porridge and a coffee, a couple of hours by the pool, back to the room for a shower, and then out for the rest of the day / night.

My husband is a fan of Fuddruckers at The Orleans too, although it's a veggie burger (and wedges) he always has. I've not tried it, as it's in a food court I tend to get a slice of sbarro pizza or a subway instead.
