I think maybe your 'minimal' must be a bit more than my 'minimal'. I likely only gambled $10 or $20 total, so needless to say I've had no room offers. Could be worth hanging out there one night this trip maybe....perhaps if we're heading over to the quiz at McMullan's anyway. Or even stop into the Gold Coast while at Rio or whatever. We're thinking of heading downtown this trip to use some coupons....not been there in a few years.

Have you logged on to the B connected website to check?

But yes my minimal is a little more than $20 :D

We are staying downtown over a weekend at the California (reduced rates by logging on to b connected ), maybe get room offers there for next trip:T

It might be posted already but new to me :o Only for 3 weeks though, but this combined with Thomas Cook gives us more options flying direct from Scotland.

New Glasgow to Las Vegas route

Great news! From 10 September 2015 we will be flying direct to Las Vegas from Glasgow, as well as Manchester and London Gatwick, giving you even more choice when choosing your next flight with Virgin Atlantic.

    Flight dates and times
Flight VS163 departs Glasgow Airport at 11.10 on Thursdays, arriving in Las Vegas at 13.05 local time. This route will operate from 10 September 2015 to 01 October 2015.

Flight VS164 leaves Las Vegas at 15.35 on Thursdays, arriving in Glasgow at 09.05 local time. This route will operate from 17 September 2015 to 08 October 2015.

These flights will be bookable online from mid October 2014.

I forgot to mention that ThomasCook has added more flights to include September and October 15.

Price example for 5/10/15 for a week would be around £1140 for 2 flights.with 23KG and 6KG hand luggage.

I'm tempted ;) but we are going in November 2014 and June 2015 so we'll see....

that Glasgow flight sounds like it could be really interesting for some here...it's also interesting for those of us flying from LGW as it appears it will be a race to land as the outbound times are almost the same.

It's also interesting to see what this will mean for check-in at LAS...as currently it opens at 12:30 with the 4:30pm LGW flight...if the GLA flight leaves an hour earlier I wonder if that will mean they will bump the check-in opening time back to 11:30...that would really, really suit us.

I just read the dates...so it's only for a few weeks and one flight a week in which case ignore me. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I need Monte Carlo to offer me a weeks comp! grrrrrrrrrrrrr !
amount of $$$ we spent there, would hope I can blag something! (ok, they did give us that spa suite for free when we stayed 5 nights over the wkend :D )
If I could find a in-direct flight for like £550 ish and 1 week comp'd room, I could be booking my vegas trip already ! :D (thinking April 4th week, should be pushing around 30degrees heat around then ?)

I got a flight starting out of Dublin on BA via LHR for £530rtn. Use some avios to get to Dublin for £17 and and that's £547rtn (the flight back is via LAX and on that new A380 and I'll just get off at LHR).

Earn 10000avios anyway so it makes that lhr > Dublin flight in the morning worth it.

That is in September as well (weather going to be beaut!). 18th sept, 3nts over a weekend. Cracking deal!

No, logged in and I don't have any. Have some discounts such as $29 per night including $30 in credits. It will be my 40th on our day of arrival so we don't really want to stay there this year...normally we would do Orleans when we have a car and then move on to somewhere more expensive. Think we're just sticking with Platinum for the whole time this year. That said, I'd be interested in hoping for free nights for next year. Their refurbished rooms look nice.

I've read through all 113 pages and thanks for all the advice here.

I have a specific question. I am playing myVegas and I'm about to register for an Mlife account. It's showing as my email address is already registered but I've never registered. Will it have picked this up from my Facebook? It's not recognising my date of birth with my email address though.

Hi and welcome to the MSE Vegas thread!

I had the same thing when I tried to register the OH. I knew for a fact that they didn't have an Mlife account as they usually play on my card. All I could think was that I might have signed up for email offers, but I couldn't remember doing that etiher.

I just used a different email address which is different from their Facebook email address, but we had no problems redeeming rewards.

For those that have been to Vegas early April, (like the 1st week...)
whats temp like ?? (if someone asks me whats temp like towards end of May, I say average 40degrees)....

Hoping its 30 ish in April ??
Looking at a plan of: Flying direct with Norweigan Air to LA (under £500), then drive to Vegas.... Love driving, so not an issue :)

I went on 5th April 2012 for a week, it was lovely during the day (t-shirt and shorts) but definitely got cold at night, I was out in a t-shirt and was bloody freezing.
