Subway normally have some $5 specials, I think...or hubby and I have split a foot long if we can agree (doesn't always happen). Earl of Sandwich is another quick stop for lunch if we're in need.

The last few trips we have had a few lunch buffets - either freebies on MyVegas, 2-for-1s using various vouchers or with pebbles or similar...we find that kind of screws up our meal planning a bit as then we're not hungry for dinner and we start to run low on evenings to fit our favourites in...but from a MSE perspective I suppose it usually means we usually don't eat again until lunch the next day and the cycle starts again. :)

    Sixth Anniversary
This is from a web page dated March 2013 so prices have probably gone up a bit since then:

This is a recommendation, not an advert. Unfortunately I am not receiving any benefit from the company or anyone else for posting it. Not even a single fry. :)

Hi, Off to Las Vegas in August and looking at what rewards to get. Can someone tell me what the "VIP Bottle service" consists of please?

Usually a booth that will seat about 6-8 people, 1 bottle premium liquor of your choice and unlimited mixers. You will be expected to tip your server as well.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I agree, we never eat 3 meals really either, unless they are light meals/snacks.

As for buffets, you'd be hard pushed to find breakfast for under $10 on the strip. One day we just wanted a snack so went to Subway in Casino Royale (or O'Sheas?) and even that set us back about $20 for both of us. Off strip are some better values, like Orleans, Gold Coast, Stations etc. I must admit, I'm quite partial to breakfast buffet at Wynn. We take our time, they do lovely orange juice....and some really good quality items. It's not unreasonable if you consider if you were to buy those quality items in a cafe. We do class it as a treat though, and if we're at Platinum we would be making breakfast and maybe even lunch in the room some mornings too so it all balances out. We also get a LVA book and go out in the car and spend less on food while we're out off the strip so I feel we can justify the Wynn buffet because we enjoy it so much. :)

    I dont think you will.
we have buffet breakfast most mornings, rarely pay more than about $8 a head but never on the strip.

Silver sevens is $5 although i havent been since it was Terribles and Sunset station is $6 both members prices, of course a car is required for the latter.

Cheap and closer to the strip would be Gold coast and Orleans $7 and $9 and both good breakfast buffets IMO

EDIT I didnt notice you had mentioned those in your post

    Hi all

Have to share my excitement as at long last, the day has arrived, leaving for Vegas today :j

Not sure about everyone else, but for Vegas I always seem to have a million and one print outs! With MyVegas rewards, hotel confirmations and coupons, it is a mini book.

We have an overnight stay in NY on our way out again, but unlike last time we won't sleep on the floor (never again!), but sensibly booked a hotel. With the overnight stay, we have a cool 36 hours of travel time ahead....

Apparently we have a thunderstorm to contend with upon arrival, but the weather in Vegas very much look to make up for that :)

Cannot wait now to be back in Vegas!

Have a fab day all :)

have a great trip lizzielie! we also seem to have a small book of print-outs with us, suspect most here are familiar with that too. Somehow it's part of the run up to Vegas excitement to start gathering all the papers. :)
