Ooh nice! Did you ask or were you offered?
We were called over to the desk expecting something awful. Complete surprise. Didn't even moan at check in about the delay. Too short to be moanworthy. We are both platinum and assme that helped but not sure why else the chose us. If they had seen hubby's socks with sandals I think they may have moved onto the next option available. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Now you're in trouble, you will want to turn left every time from now on. That is how it all started for me, we got an OPUP to Club once and have never flown economy since. It seems like every decision I make now revolves around how many Tesco clubcard points I can get.:rotfl:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Sorry if I've missed previous discussion regarding money, but what methods of payment do you general all take to Vegas? Cards and cash, just cash, something else I haven't seen? Looking at getting it in bits before we go so that it's not all one big hit.
I think most would take a credit card that doesn't charge a loading or conversion fee, like the Clarity or the Post Office card.
Also there are some cards that you can load with money then pull it out while there.
We run a business that pays us in Dollars and all that money goes straight into a Bank of America account, so we take about $400 to tide us over till we can get to the bank. But because the £ is doing quite well at the moment we often just pay by credit card which will more than often give you a better exchange rate than the cash you converted.

Not Vegas related but Bank of America's online banking is awesome. You can deposit a cheque by taking a picture of it:T

Doubt it as Virgin's FF is Gold, Silver and Red ;)

Unless there is a secret level.

    Hope you enjoyed UC :D

Doubt if this will help but will offer anyway.

We're flying UC from LHR Sat 24th May and can guest in two adults if anyone's flying Virgin that day (to anywhere).
(I know Virgin to LAS is from LGW)

Doh. From now on shall reference metal colour vs name...was confusing with AA.

Stoneman we have been the same since 2 b2b PE trips (one miles, one for 20th trip paid) now seem to manage to justify PE each trip. First time in Upper though and was lovely but couldn't imagine paying full whack for it. Coming back Upper in Oct as upgrade was justifiably inexpensive we thought.

Sorry, what do you mean by that? We are flying Delta next week.

Delta bought half of Virgin and is moving over to T3. Presumably their First/Business/Plat/Gold passengers get to use the Clubhouse.

Dunno if its as early as next week though.
