Hubby just mentioned this as he read something on Vegas Chatter...we decided that if someone were to say to us 'would you like a free ride on the High Roller?' our first instinct would be to reply 'we're leaving tonight' as we would think it was a timeshare thing.

I am looking forward to it when it's time - would have been even better if it was free!

82 yesterday and windy.
Wind to continue through to Tuesday/wed with temps dropping to mid 60's. Back up to high 70's by weekend then into 80's next week.

Yesterday was lovely and warm with the breeze and then today and tomorrow are looking like 22 and breezy. Bit disappointed that it is going to be in the late teens on tues but I have saved all the shopping and indoor bits for then. Perfect weather for a pale one like me but I can understand you'd be disappointed if you were expecting 25+.

Are you at the vdara yet martmonk? We got a fab view of the bellagio fountains on floor 30 just by asking.
It's a lovely room and quick to the strip via Cosmo/aria/bellagio/tram depending on where you're going. Best of all no casino and smoke cloud to walk through.

Yeah, checked in this morning, 47th floor, fountain view. Cracking room, on a par with Cosmo.

I logged into Groupon today as was about to buy the groupon for 2 to see the Hypnosis show at the V Threatre, when a message appeared saying get 20% off the order!


Only works on 1 order though, as I ordered the Nascar Driving thing at Irwindale raceway Nr Los Angeles, got the 20% off that instead, and then got the hypnosis show for 2 for $35

at first we thought the 3-day pass was what it sounded like but no...I find the pricing structure odd. I get after dark being more expensive than daytime but otherwise it is just weird.
