I am watching a recording of the Payday Loan Companies Select Committee session held recently (not sure what date) but it is clear that CRAs are in league with Payday Loan Companies so how low on the caring scale can they get when they let companies like that have a free rein on our raw data for money?

    The barefacedness of those in the lending industry giving evidence is almost beyond belief. They take their public for fools.

    Ah ... a breath of fresh air - I see this session was the one where Martin Lewis gave evidence in the second half.

    Gillian Guy of Citizens Advice alongside Martin made a good point about Payday Lenders, which I consider is just as apt for describing CRA behaviour in response to criticism about bad practice: "They claim they are doing all they can. They are not doing all they can to clean up their act, they are just doing all they want to do in order to make their business model work." (may be slight paraphrasing in that).
