Hi guys, been a while since I posted as everything 'weddingy' is threatening to take over my life!! I have caught up with the posts and you have all made some REALLY lovely things and I am very impressed with each one of you!! Quick update for my list:

    1. Wedding invitations for day and evening and RSVPs – done 13.02.2014
    2. Wedding information sheets, Menus and Orders of Service – started 13.02.2014 (information sheets done)
    3. Activity Books for the kids - done! 16.01.2013
    4. Table Plan - going to use a mirror for this and have bought that already so as soon as we confirm our guest list more I can crack on with this
    5. Winnie the Pooh cross stitch - started out as a gift but the baby in question is now 5 (and won't appreciate it anymore) so aiming to have it ready for any of my own potential children..
    6. VW Campervan cross - started as a gift for DF in 2012 and never completed
    7. Christmas stockings for 2014 -
    done 18.01.2014
    8. Christmas gift sacks for 2014
    9. Christmas cushions including 'Noel' and 'Stag' (carlamarie you inspired me, I had been thinking about buying them!)
    10. Coca Cola blind and clock for kitchen
    11. Christmas cross stitch gifts – started ‘Ho Ho Ho’ for my mum
    12. 'Home is where the heart is' cross stitch –
    done! 31.01.2014
    13. Christmas Alphabet sampler - started 01.02.2014
    14. 8 pearl 'bling' gift boxes, 6 pearl 'bling' lipbalms and one pearl 'bling' wooden box for rings - started 29.01.2014 (4 lipbalms done, 2 boxes done, ring box started)

As you can see - not very much progress made but I got distracted by a house project - bought a new table and chairs off eBay which someone had 'botched' by painting with varnish rather than re-oiling so I have sanded back down to wood and oiled the table and 3 of 4 chairs. I aim to have them done by next weekend so that I can recover the seats and have them ready for Mothers Day when I will have my Grandma and Mum round for a meal..

I haven't read all the way through yet, but just wanted to pop to say hello
I have a couple of craft idea's I want to try, will complie a bit of a list once I have finished reading through. I think I'm a 'tryer' when it comes to crafts, sometimes they look great, othertimes not so much, but would love to try and get better and this seems a good way to do it.

Well back to reading through and will come back with a list :)

Tashatutuw - your table and chairs sound good (photos please). Good luck on completing it before your Grandma and Mum come for the meal.

Dakota - well done on completing your 5 gifts for birthday presents and the baby samplers. They look lovely.

Florenceem - I think you are going into production with the hangers you are finishing them so quickly. Do you have many more sets to make?

Newthrift - welcome. Looking forward to seeing your list. Being a trier is fine we never criticise, will offer help if its asked for and love seeing pictures yes, but criticise no.

maria and the imps - I think it is cute.
Ailsb - the first of a project always takes longer then as you get into the making - gets quicker. I do have quite a few sets left to make.
I tend to settle on an item then everyone possible gets that as a pressie. One year - I did juggling sets
    another - knitted scarves
    another - sewn scarves
    another - peg bags
another - shoe cleaning sets in bags
another - sewing boxes with HM patchwork pincushions
    another - door stops.
One year - I got a complaint - when no crafted gifts!

    Another lot finished.
I had a blouse in my stash - bought for 10p at a Jumble Sale - years ago. Cut it up to make the hanger covers - 6 buttons on it - used them to stop clothes slipping off the hangers.

Welcome. I have added you to the list of "members" I think I have kept the list of names up to date but the achievement numbers are not :(

If you can, add a photo to our Flickr group - you have to apply for membership and then you can see lots of lovely projects which have been crafted by "us" as well as add your own.
