  • Just noticed the Shepherd's Bush "Full Heart" Shepherd's Fold cross stitch piece in our Flickr group. I was wondering who has stitched it? I've just received my pack and am really looking forward to stitching it.

Sorry I haven't been posting on here, but I have been keeping an eye on the Flickr Group! :)

    10) Wild Roses crochet blanket
    11) Learn to use a sewing machine

    13) Finish the green UFO that is in the bottom of my wool basket
    14) Crochet reindeer tree ornaments for SIL

Other projects that I would like to do this year:
    Cowl Scarf
    Boot Cuffs
    Lace Crochet Clutch Bag
Mobile of crochet creatures - I've done a bumble bee, but would like to add a ladybird, butterfly, bird... etc

I finished another 3 bags for Beads of Courage and I have 3 more in progress, so nearly halfway to my target of 25. No more pics until they are all finished. I will go on and make more after these are done. I'm glad to hear you're joining in Mrs-moneypenny.

tricksie & roz, you've been busy. And I can't forget florenceem - you have something to show us every day - well done.

    Hello all,

What wonderful makes in here - you do some lovely work.

Here is some updates from me to you.

Finished part 8 of the learning sampler - in this I did cross stitch, diamond rhodes stitch, rice stitch and a new one round eyelet stitch.

    100_1275_zpse4a75aee.jpg

Also did another page for my stitch book - round eyelet stitch

    100_1270_zpsa145e033.jpg

Today I am also planning to start my Mums memory stitch - the twisted band - here is the finished design with my threads - I using DMC threads not the recommended threads - Au Ver a Soie (they were about £3 each, as apposed to my DMC threads were 10 for £3.30 (the bobbin ones) or 39p each (the skein ones). Worked out I have only paid about £15 (pattern was free - won it in a competition with the designer). So not bad going. Going to do it on plain evenweave at 32hpi.

Hope all are ok, kind wishes

    sweetcarer ;)
