    I've been Money Tipped!
    Love the cards florenceem
mrsmoneypenny I've not seen them before, would they be used as a hanging decoration, say on a drawer handle or would you use as a pin cushion?

I haven't commented on this thread for so long, sorry all! I seem to have lost the ability to finish any one item. Got no problem starting though lol!
But that doesn't help me in this thread!

I've narrowed down all the things I am doing at the minute and I'm concentrating on just three things, before completing the rest/starting anymore.
They are 1. I've been wanting to make some clothes from a pattern as I've never used one before. So I have started (got everything cut and pinned) a dress for my dd. I've had to ask the advice of my mum a couple of times to ensure 'this bit goes there' but overall I think I'm doing ok. Although I'm yet to stitch it! I'm hoping to have this finished by Tuesday.
2.my sister is getting married in July and my mum brought me a postbox around to decorate for the wedding cards. With my mum, we have come up with a subtle design; I am putting mr &mrs xxxx and the date in raised lettering this will be placed on card, which will then be placed n lace, so the lace is just around the card, if you can picture it! It will then all be painted cream and possible some paper roses added to the top (although I have never done these so well see). I am half way through the lettering, which has been done with rolled tissue paper and pva.
    3. This one is a biggie, I've got two pallet which I am turning into a headboard. The pallets are to be split, then all lined up, sanded, waxed and finally, something painted on. I've seen some pics of some with bird silhouettes, but I'm not sure im a bird person! Technically I haven't started this one yet, but I'm excited to get it done. My father in law has brought me a few told today to split it up and his electric sander. I'm hoping to get it all split and lined up in the correct way tomorrow/Saturday

So hopefully I will be able to cross something's off my list soon.

I seem to be having a problem with flickr, I haven't been able to sign in for the past week or so. But it says it changing so you can acess it only through yahoo so looks like ill need to get a new account set up there, I'll try get onto that tonight. Unfortunately it means I'm not seeing a lot of thing s whats been posted in there.

i added hanging a loop, but ive seen them without, you could use them as pincushions or put some lavender or something in with the stuffing and make it as a little drawer freshener or just an ornament. i saw one that was two different sized ones hanging on a longer ribbon to make a hanging mobile type decoration
if you google or pintrest biscornu loads come up

    Hi All

Apologies i have been away from the forum for a while, been poorly and had no energy for crafting but am now back and raring to go!
I have been keeping an eye on everyones work so far and there are some amazing cards being made i'm very impressed! That is not something i have ever thought about doing myself but may well try in the future! I am also very intrigued by these biscournu mrs money penny - i will google those when i have a bit more time!!

I have pictures of the cats i have made and as soon as i am linked with the flikr group i will upload them!
I have also been concentrating on making my wedding bouquet and the bouquets for my bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding in May so that has taken presidence. I will add them as one of my craft projects though as i feel they are worthy of a place on the list! I won't upload them until after the wedding though have to keep some surprises under wraps!!! ;);)
I am half way through my first ever babies cardigan too so will keep you updated with the success of that!
So here is my list so far.....

    1. Knit a tea cosy
