You can also make a treacle tart if you have lots of breadcrumbs, just mix with the treacle/syrup put in pastry case bingo!
I wish you hadn't told me that, just found a bottle of golden syrup in the cupboard that I had forgotten. But I am trying to lose weight ..............What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Iknow thats all im thinking of my beef:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: when we flooded in 2012 lost all my stuff in the freezers as it tripped all the electric out and we was away for a week:(:(
Lost all my freezer contents last year when I thought I had had a breakdown. Put all contents on garden to photograph for insurance purposes.
Turned out OH had turned power off on wrong switch :mad::mad:
Watching nearly £200 of food be taken to tip nearly made me cry :eek:0 -
Too early for shop vs W - lost a substantial amount on this:(:(:(:(:(. (And, yes, it is worth all those :(s.
) I don't much like this game anymore!:rotfl: Items going on offer today - try this shop tomorrow and it might work! Some Vitality Peach & Apricot going reduced to 50p in A - does return (for now) N/A vs Waities, but showing OOS on msm so might disappear from the APG soon.
Shredded Wheat 30 going up to £2.78 in A from tomorrow, perhaps even better if you see £2 r'back still on shelf. So bad today that comp. flipped to vs Sains, and didn't even give a couple of quid.
I also have the Bitesize Shredded Wheat 750g, the Asda Loaf Cakes at 50p (Madeira, Fruit or Milk Choc only should go vs N/A as wanted. Do not go for Lemon as that is very much more exp. in W - and Double Choc considered too much of a risk). Also the Comfort Fab Cond Blue Skies 85 wash at £3 for W. Think the Pure one also vs W at £3 (need to check msm!). And wait a little more than me before going to A!
5 items on your bill qualify for comparisonWaitrose
+£4.11
1 x ASDA Mashed Potato (400g)£1.00£1.00:( 1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Diced Carrot & Swede (500g)£0.50£0.77:( 1 x ASDA Whole Sea Bream (250g)£2.00N/A 1 x Mr Kipling Angel Slices (6)£1.00£1.59:( 1 x Oust All Purpose Descaler Superfast Action (3x25ml...£1.00N/A 1 x ASDA Chosen by You Vitality Peach & Apricot (375g)£0.50N/A 1 x Natural Selection Chopped Dates (200g)£0.50N/A 1 x Nestle Shredded Wheat (30 per pack - 675g)£2.00£2.75:( 1 x Persil Non Biological Powder - 50 Washes (4.25Kg)£9.50£12.00:(:( Comparison total (compared products only)£14.00£18.11:(:(
Figured the Diced Carrot & Swede, with weight adjustment (W is smaller) should be just about 10% chpr, but might round down W's price and be neutral or not much effect, if W is farther away may make sense to get in A for roughly 'same price' per unit (after APG) as W, but only after waiting for new price hopefully to get to APG. Should have waited, but entered v. soon as I could as thought Sea Bream and "Vitality" cereal might not even appear and thus leave me with 7 items.
Vs M, "Vitality" is N/A, as is the Natural Selection pack and the Sea Bream (for now).0 -
Lovely day for me today
Went on a little shopping trip this morning. My plastic mini greenhouse has been trashed in the wind so got a new one from Wilkos.
We all got soaked so came home, got in jammies and all cuddled up on the sofa under a duvetWe've got an L shaped sofa and a big footstool that slots into the corner so it's like a double bed. In fact i'm still here now and don't plan on moving any time soon
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
