Thank you for this. We had lots of bread going stale last week, I hate wasting food, so insisted on blitzing the leftover bread in the mini-chopper and freezing (even though we struggled to fit them in freezer and snapped one of the freezer drawers in the process :(). Had NO idea what I would do with it, as hardly ever make my own stuffing and normally only use to add a little to the top of a pasta bake - usually even forget that. Now I realise, it was fate preparing me for my new life as a soup queen :j:j

I make my own stuffing balls with a finely diced onion fried up, breadcrumbs and dried sage, made into balls and put on an oiled baking tray in the bottom of the oven while the roast veg are finishing - good for going with sausages or meatballs to make them more substantial.
Also if the best happens and you get loads of whoopies for the freezer your breadcrumb stash can go on the bird table :T

I want one!! Have made a deal with myself - it is currently £39.99 at Dunelm: if it comes down in price in a shop I have vouchers for (T's or House of Fraser), I will treat myself :A I do love a gadget. I even use some of them :rotfl::rotfl:

You didn't lose a pen recently did you? ;)

I know they say never to cook things on the bottom of the oven, but why? :o

If I ever have to, I just put a baking tray on the bottom then my tray of whatever on top of it

I thought I had a good one (possibly my best ever) - £5 Airwick surely £3.15 each elsewhere? - but was sadly not to be. The Fairy washing powder/tabs at £4 I suspected might lose out although, in the event, the other Fairy, the dishwasher one at £5, turned out to be twice that price:eek: at T, S and W. But, did give a (small) voucher vs my favourite store, Fairy dishwasher returning N/A (I've no idea!) and Fairy liquitabs going £4 vs £4. Someone else can sort the format below out, as doubtless my phone service will kick me off again before I can do anything! Posting as might give a couple of new items vs Morries. Confirmation on the Forest Fruit Go Ahead! as well, A's price now down from £1.65 to £1 (still not 10% cheaper:rotfl: than M) - consider this an amendment to the M list (item still being kept on there though!).
