I was born in an era when all " ladies things " .
we're bought at the chemists
and only known as Dr pink or blue if I remember rightly

and there was definite no Dr pizza to be seen :rotfl:

And they were passed over the counter in a brown paper bag
Tho instead of asking for Doctor Whites
it was always in code packet of pinks please
    Or packet of blues:T
    :T
I remember my Dads first time in a supermarket and we got to that AISLE

I thought he was going to die a death he got all tongue twisted flustered and flushed

And scurried off saying he would wait at the doors
for me I never saw him ever move as fast

    Bless him

    Bless him.

I was about 14 when we went in our first supermarket with mum and sibs who where 15 and 16... the 15 year old put a very large box of condoms on the top of her trolley......she had no idea but was aware that she was getting dirty looks from everyone! When we got to the till she nearly had a heart attack, she could not speak... sounds like your dad! :D:D:D:D:D

Evening all! I hope the new year has started out well for you all?
Me again, I said I would be posting more :D

Just received an email from Mighty Deals for £10 off if I spend £20 not sure if anybody else has got one.
Having a look on the website and first thing I notice is 120 toilet rolls for £21.99 and then £1 postage.
So that would cost me £12.99 for 120.

It is Softique does anybody know what that is like??xx :)

I see this is already sorted but for future reference, I got the groupon deal for 135 loo rolls for £31.99 and bought 4 lots. I was worried when the packs said 'fragranced' as some loo roll fragrances are horrid, but they smell of baby powder and are nice quality, bargaintastic!

Of course now my garage is filled to the brim with loo roll! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Got to post this as it has one of the best vids for a choon I've ever seen. Won't mean much to younger posters though.

I don't really wear it, I buy it, put it on, forget I have it on and rub eye/face/lips... and look like a munter! So it goes to niece... she loves me loads! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Scamps I'm sorry to hear what happened, if the car is yours and she's run off with it, she has stolen it, so I would report it as such and get it back sharpish. I would also report her for stealing your money but that's just my opinion :o More as a tactical thing than to actually charge her, people tend to quickly realise the seriousness of things like this once the police get involved.

I hope things sort themselves out for you very quickly, meanwhile you always have friends on here xxx

There isn't a link to it. It's the vouchers from the Dr O pizzas that printed off about a years worth, in dated groups.

If you've not had them, it's unlikely you'll find them now, you need to get the boxes with the blue heart flash thing on the front

So, how is everyone getting on with their resolutions? Apart from the posting more on here, I have decided to spend 15 mins a day decluttering. I started 4 days ago and have been doing a drawer a day. I really needed to for 2 reasons....we are in a rented house and may move at the end of our tenancy.....and I am just overrun by crap that no one uses.
I have boxes in my garage...unpacked...from the house I moved out of 5 years ago!!!! No that's just madness!!
Anyway, Sherlock and David Blane both on at 9....can't decide which to watch and which to record :j

Pop over to the decluttering thread. It is very good. I love reading it for some strange reason:eek:
