Reading back all the posts today when this poem came into my head I dont know why and it wasnt anything anyone said but thought would share it with you. You can all practice your scots !!

Oh what a sleekit horrible beastie
Lurks in your belly efter the feastie
Just as ye sit doon among yer kin
There sterts to stir an enormous wind
The neeps and tatties and mushy peas
Stert workin like a gentle breeze
But soon the puddin wi the sauncie face
Will have ye blawin all ower the place

Nae matter whit the hell ye dae
    A'body's gonnae hiv tae pay
Even if ye try tae stifle
    It's like a bullet oot a rifle
Hawd yer bum tight tae the chair
Tae try and stop the leakin air
Shifty yersel fae cheek tae cheek
Prae tae God it doesnae reek

But aw yer efforts go assunder
Oot it comes like a clap o thunder
    Ricochets aroon the room
    Michty me a sonic boom
    God almighty it fairly reeks
Hope I huvnae !!!! my breeks
Tae the bog I better scurry
Aw whit the hell it's no ma worry

    A'body roon aboot me chokin
Wan or two are nearly bokin
I'll feel better for a while
Cannae help but raise a smile
Wiz him! I shout with accusin glower
Alas too late, he's just keeled ower
Ye dirty !!!!!! they shout and stare
A dinnae feel welcome any mair

Where e'ere ye go let yer wind gan' free
Sounds like just the job fur me
Whit a fuss at rabbie's party
Ower the sake o one wee farty

I've had that with mine when the Footlocker offer was on. They said it needed to be flashing. Sorry, my antiquated BlackBerry doesn't do things like that. Not had any problems in Smiths other than the Xmas offers saying they were on for a week, like the free Xmas wrapping paper and the free batteries and then getting pulled after a couple of days!

Yes! Me too. I was spoken to so rudely in my local Smiths yesterday about the book, they refused to take the code because my phone didn't have something going round, I have a Blackberry curve, I appreciate there is rules to be followed but she wouldn't even look at my phone for me to prove it wasn't a screen shot or anything, her reply was "ah well NO" in a sarcastic voice like I was a child I was fuming  came home and called Smiths who are posting me the book, I wasn't even that worried about getting the book it was more the SA attitude like I was a shop lifter. I posted about it on the O2 board, someone else said they had the same trouble with their Blackberry as well, I really think O2 need to look at this.

Hi V, thankyou for the advice. House is a council property, joint tenents. They won't let me stay in it on my own as it's a 3 bed unless if I asked one of my kids to move in with their family. All the council will do is give me a 1 bed flat in god knows where!!

Only a small pension so I don't think she'll be worried about that!
As for the savings account, It's mostly mine from selling stuff from glitches, so I've worked hard in getting it!! I'm hoping it's a knee jerk reaction on her part, will see sense and sort it out. Just waiting for the 'games' to begin.

Remember council can't get you out until they offer you another place. You might be holding the cards there as sure they will want your 3 bed enough to offer you something decent in return. Don't you have to bid? Might be given points for priority if they want your house.

Form E is a very simple one really. From starting new bank account make sure you only put taxable earnings in it as you will have to show 12 months statements when you go for resolution. Need to find yourself a nice loose floorboard instead of bank account for boot sale money (should never put non taxable earnings in bank)

Glad to see you are with us tonight and not in bottom of a bottle.
All the best for your hospital appointment next week.

The staff in my local store have always been fab with o2 codes. However, I had a very different experience today in a store in Milton keynes. Two sour faced women on the tills were talking very loudly about their customers. One of them said "all we've had all day is people coming in with o2 codes for a free book" The other SA replied " They shouldn't be giving away all these new titles" When it was my turn to be served, the sour faced jobsworth wouldn't let me have the book i'd chosen. She said it was from last years collection. They had put a massive BOGO for £1 sticker over the book club date! I did point this out to her to show it was their mistake not mine, but she chose to ignore me and kept ranting on about how i'd picked up the wrong book. I wasn't bothered about the book. I just didn't like the way she was trying to insinuate it was my mistake and not theirs! Anyway, I swopped it for a different title. Then OH and DD got a book too, lol

Thanks for this, only just seen it, been popping in and out all day, this thread moves fast :rotfl:I'm seriously tempted to upgrade my phone when I have a spare little money/ can justify the purchase as do love the O2 offers and think that if this is the shops cracking down on the O2 code's i'm going to have this problem a lot in the future and really cant be doing with the hassle of having a barney with a jobsworth, it just shocks me how people can be so rude for no reason it's horrible, I would never dream of being that rude for no reason to a random stranger.
