Well I've got a few silly ones on my list - like making the 1/2 bag of Kettle chips I've got on the go the last bag of crisps I eat this year - I wonder how long that will last ...

I've also got a new excel chart started so I can get a better sense of our normal everyday spends now there are just 2 of us and now is a good time as any to start now some sort of normality is returning.

Also seen on another forum thread someone who writes in their diary 3 good (enough) things that have happened every day - this is going to be a very hard task indeed.

    Hi mhoc.
On your last point, you may be surprised how easy it could be.

Last year after surgery which failed I was a bit down but found it quite helpful to have a read back and realise just how lucky I was. It not big things just things that are nice which we take for granted.

That was how found the elite as sitting at home all day alone was no fun. Dont imagine I was a barrel of laughs when DH came home at night, but I am back at work part time and for me that is a least one of my 3 a day

If anyone made a Boots order which they have not received a despatch email for it may be worth you popping into the Boots store.

I had 1 order despatched but another order that had not moved from processing and I presumed this was cancelled. When i went into the store to collect the despatched orderl the SA said oh there is another one out the back in your name.

When she brought the order through it was the one that is still showing as processing on the Boots website.

    Tenth Anniversary
Scamps so sorry to hear your news.
Going by my own divorce (2nd time) I think that when you do your form E and go before the judge you should at least be awarded half of what is in your savings account. You are entitled to half of any pension your wife accrued in the time you were married (as she is yours) also due to your ill health from fall she could be made to pay you maintenece or tiwards a place for you to live. Even if house was in her sole name it doesnt matter if you paid towards it or not, if you have lived together a certain length of time.

I agree even though it sounds unlikely your wife would get an overdraft and fleece you further the bank account needs freezing.

There is some very good advice out there and even if pension is relatively small amount it is worth it. Whatever you do don't leave the property until divorce court. Possesion is everything.

I will tell my dark and dismal tale one night about a man who made it impossible to return as he moved his g/f in. I learnt a hell of a lot.

I had a lovely time with dgd at the puppet theatre today. Met the lovely PD too.
Feeling guilty as dd got stuck in traffic for 3 hours travelling home while it took me 1 hour 20 mins including a stop off at mr t. Bluewater is actually equal distance from our homes.
Dgd absolutely loved the show. Didn't shop afterwards as centre got quite busy.

Hi V, thankyou for the advice. House is a council property, joint tenents. They won't let me stay in it on my own as it's a 3 bed unless if I asked one of my kids to move in with their family. All the council will do is give me a 1 bed flat in god knows where!!

Only a small pension so I don't think she'll be worried about that!
As for the savings account, It's mostly mine from selling stuff from glitches, so I've worked hard in getting it!! I'm hoping it's a knee jerk reaction on her part, will see sense and sort it out. Just waiting for the 'games' to begin.

had a run in with Smiths who refused to take my O2 code for a free book I explained that as I have a Blackberry it doesnt have the circle thing they were looking for would they listen would they heck they were so rude and dismissive  phoned Smiths when I got home who are sending me the book :j.

The staff in my local store have always been fab with o2 codes. However, I had a very different experience today in a store in Milton keynes. Two sour faced women on the tills were talking very loudly about their customers. One of them said "all we've had all day is people coming in with o2 codes for a free book" The other SA replied " They shouldn't be giving away all these new titles" When it was my turn to be served, the sour faced jobsworth wouldn't let me have the book i'd chosen. She said it was from last years collection. They had put a massive BOGO for £1 sticker over the book club date! I did point this out to her to show it was their mistake not mine, but she chose to ignore me and kept ranting on about how i'd picked up the wrong book. I wasn't bothered about the book. I just didn't like the way she was trying to insinuate it was my mistake and not theirs! Anyway, I swopped it for a different title. Then OH and DD got a book too, lol
