Do we need Morries comp. results now M is online?
A tactical receipt entry on this shop - but it hasn't worked. I saw the £3.50 sausages and thought they would be Richmond 681g - showing as on 'half price' £1.74 on 'm.co.uk', which I think they may also have been last week. Thought I'd delay the receipt till after Christmas, to give APG chance to catch up. Then I saw a 20 pack of Walkers at £2.00 on the receipt. Knew they were losing money vs M currently (at £3) - checked 'm.co.uk' (M's grocery site logged in from 'Alton Towers':rotfl: - somehow M's entire online customer base is now in that part of the country) and saw they were going up to £4.69:eek::eek: - even more of a loss! So I went as quickly as I could. I knew when I saw "Good news!" that it was no good. Richmond Saus. returning at full price. M £4.99 more expensive. Wouldn't have made any difference though - even with the 10% - as A would still have been more than 10% even if the Saus. were counted as £1.74 rather than £3.50.
Just a thought (another one in addition to all those contained above!:rotfl::rotfl:) - as you log in via postcode on M's grocery site, presumably that will give us access to M's prices anywhere in the country (G.B.) once M rolls out deliveries across the land. So we could check specific Scottish items wherever we are - or check to see if any regional products that might help in some areas.

That Whitworth's 2kg sugar is Avs T at £1.74 (although, technically, 5kg ones probably work out slightly cheaper). That ruddy 6 pint milk losing out again - the one I almost never buy, except when I kill off an APG that's going nowhere later this week, as 6pts will then be enough to see us through. (Even if it's a shade more expensive than 10% chpr than 4pt 1% milk vs Sains. unit price 4.4p x0.9 on 4pt, 4.3p on 6pt in A cheaper shop or Tvs A.)
Sp Lard also works versus T... but you don't need to buy 3:eek:.
Walkers 20 pack crisps are my least fav. crisps at the moment - continually losing me out on wombles and soon, it appears, to be even worse.
On that (sad) note, I'll bid you goodnight!!:rotfl:
Merry Christmas!

Did anyone else watch Gary Barlow in Afghanistan this evening on ITV? It reminds you and makes you appreciate the sacrifices that members of our armed forces make including being away from home for long periods - all the messages to their families alongside the music (when my wife and children are safely asleep upstairs and I will be with them over Christmas) was very touching.
And the news today of the loss of another soldier in Afghanistan reminds us of their ultimate sacrifice.
"When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today"
Sorry, not money saving but sometimes worth a reminder that their are other important things in life.
