Don't forget the extra one for forgetting your birthday ;):D

I found the same when I had my little op a few months back. I think our older bodies take longer to recover than our younger ones used to :o you think you're up to things that just knock you back so much!!

It's lovely to have you back. Zippy might behave himself now.....but I doubt it :rotfl::rotfl:
    I will for now anyway

Just a quickly (no comments please :-)) Firstly, hope that scamps is ok.

Busy day yesterday, apart from usual stuff, made 7 dozen mince pies (5.5 doz made it to freezer), 200 sausage rolls (180 made it into the freezer) and the DGC wanted a sleepover. Went home after their breakfast ( coco pops, toast and yellow soup - fried eggs to most people but for a two yo's imagination :-)).

When I got back from shopping was told that a tree had blown over and missed DS in his office by a fraction  but he and others were ok. :T Went to garage and when I opened the door, the wind blew one side off and landed on me . Was able to secure it temporarily but will need a new door:mad:. Mind over matter, tell yourself that it doesn't hurt. DS's packed lunch done. Made 2.5kg of Apple sauce from windfalls. Wrapped up DD birthday pressies for tomorrow, regardless how old she gets, she always comes home for her birthday and Christmas. Made the mistake of stoping to sit down and have a glass of wine.
Head, neck and back hurt too much to do any more tonight (feel a right wimp sorry).
Will get up an hour earlier at 4 tomorrow to get DD's room ready. looking forward to the other 13 joining me for Christmas Day plus others on Boxing Day.

For those with little ones, ISS will be going over about 6 tomorrow night, so great for little ones to 'think' Santa is delivering stuff so must go to bed ;).

I'm off to bed, listen to the wind howling past my window, round the magnolia tree and back round the other side :rotfl:

You guys are the best :A

You've all helped me in more ways than you'll ever know. When I'm down you pick me up without even realising you're doing it. Today is one of those days and I thank you from the bottom of my very sore feet :)
I know what you mean about this thread being a pick me up. ive been really down some times and then find myself laughing at thread. there are so many peeps on here that are good at one liners.
thinking of peeps that normally bring cheer to the thread. I hope that was drink talking last night and DM is still with us.

Cheers  that is right up my street :D I'll catch it in the next few days instead of trawling for something decent to watch :D
The kids will probably be fascinated as well. We have a strange accent phenomenon going on in our house and it something that people who meet us as a family are mystified with :rotfl::D
I sound like I have never left the place I was brought up in, OH has a very mixed up accent (Italian parents, brought up in Scotland, lived all over :D) and the kids..........:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like a good mix going on there :D

I don't really have a strong accent, well I don't think I do anyways :rotfl: But it's def a Scottish one :D I do notice my DD sounding a bit Invernesian at times though! OH is from Glasgow, although not with a really strong weegie accent (or like the one you automatically think of!) so she's got a bit of a mix going on! Just yesterday she told me she had a sore heid! Did make me :rotfl::rotfl: the way she just came away with it!
