    Hi again

I've finally read the February Santa challenge.

I have one occasion in March and Mother's Day of course but am overwhelmed with returning my bedroom into shape after the new bed arrived today. What I want to do is to declutter and chuck stuff away before I put it all back in, this involves redoing my paperwork files too and while I'm at it want to find homes for the bags of stuff I stashed in DS1's room and as the garage is full of junk will eventually go through that and hire someone to take it all away. So this will be the 'to do' part of the March challenge.

Kitchen - did a lot of the cupboards last week when I was finding space for the kitchen stuff from other house. The higher up ones weren't touched so will keep for another month.

Christmas - I did quite a lot of organising in January so will leave it now.

Extra gifts - there is an online friend I'd like to make something nice for in June, she always sends me fantastic pressies. If I don't have time will look around for something interesting to buy.

Pancake day - don't think I've got time to think about that

Easter Eggs - will look towards end of month. DS2 likes those bunnies covered in gold foil with bells on neck.

mum2one, good luck with your change of plan with the knitting

Mrs M - you have done some good planning for your March birthdays and Easter.

Rufus - you do have a lot going on for you. I hope the hospital can help you and the new dog gives you some lighter moments in between everything.

    Hi all

mum2one, aren't you tempting fate by saying it's quiet at your house? lol

I'm wondering how Sugarspun is getting along.

And how is everyone's advent calendar gift ideas?

Mrs Moneypenny how is your stocking?

quiet here cos i'm in the quiet zone in the library marking. Taking a tea break and thought who better to have a blether with.
rufusdog gosh hope the pain control gets sorted quick
mum2one i will have to pass on that cos i have NO WILLPOWER and will eat all 4  but very good news for those better than me
K angela so mum's advent calendar is going to be musicals themed. Here's my list so far - suggestions gratefully received
    1) hotel shampoo - gonna wash that man right out of my hair (south pacific, mum's all time fave - gift free)
    2) bag of bird see with a 2p label - Mary Poppins of course
    3) brown paper packages wrapped up in string - Sound of Music (thinking a couple of roses sweeties)
    4) cadburys wishes - when you wish upon a star Pinocchio
    5) mask for Phantom of the opera (left over from last year so free)
    6) lion bar with crown - lion king of course
    7) summer holiday - was going to put in double decker but colleague has given me a dinky toy bus :D
So since we're only end of Feb I've made a good start. Hmm wonder about a catering sachet of vinegar ditto jam for cabaret. too contrived? well she likes a puzzle so I can start easy...

    Hi all

Dundeedoll - those are some great ideas. I'm not into musicals at all but it got me thinking - small stick of rock for Jailhouse Rock, vaseline lip balm or lip gloss for Grease. Something wrapped in black and white paper for Chess.

    Hi all

Mrs Moneypenny - they are all fantastic !!!!

The stocking has so many different interesting parts to it.

You must have really good eyesight and patience to do the Titanic design, all those shades of blue.

Ex just text to say that his mum's house is finally in the hands of the new owner. It was his childhood home, I've been going there about 30 years or longer so will be strange for me not to go there on a Sunday, last week was my final time.

Last night I had a fantastic sleep on the bed, after all that palaver with the delivery. It was his parents bed but had a newish memory mattress. My bed was donkeys years old and the mattress was no longer comfortable in fact for years I had to sleep on loads of pillows. The only slightly odd part is that the new one is a double whereas mine was king size so length wise feels short.

I haven't done any sorting etc today as feel exhausted after overdoing last few days and haven't been socialising since last weekend. I turned down numerous invites today, last thing I want to do is do a long walk to the pub. DS is happy to chill out at home luckily.

Anyone planning to watch the new Jonathan Creek?

DundeeDoll, I never imagined you would have been living in those circumstances, how do you manage it?

Hi angela. In all honesty not well. The mse forum has been an absolute god send. Everyone is so supportive. So having been told not to bolt the door (we have a drafty door if unbolted) the cheating b@$t@rd didnt come home anyway. Each week we rub along fine, each weekend we rub each other something horrid. As my mum sez this too shall pass.
