Susan - Those tables are amazing.

had a day shopping with Miss Hoodie and grandad Hoodie - thou he was chief bag carrier - dont think the bank balance will like me... went a bit over planned budget.

I got Miss Hoodie some clothes for Goa, went into Primark - 4 prs shorts, 4 strappy tops, 4 vest tops, 4 tshirts, 2 prs of pjs, - shes basically sorted.

Got pr of school shoes reduced to £5 in Shoe zone and brought a pair of boots for me for £4 (they were odd sized) but fitted perfectly.

Then found some more raffle type wool and brought that - must be mad...

Miss Hoodie was shattered asleep in car on way there, and way back,

Off to local dogs home tomorrow to take some towels. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Already have the wool (knitted myself a lovely scarf and never got round to doing the hat in matching wool as couldnt find a pattern i really liked)

I just want to forget February, not been a good month for me at all, what with my dad seeming to get worse all the time and then burning myself, now found out my dog has a tumour that cant be sorted, cant bring myself to write whats going to happen in a few weeks but you can guess. We have just had one upset after another, really not coping very well at all.

One plus though, a friend of OH has two dogs he has been trying to rehome for a few months since they had a baby (not the dogs) so we are going to have one of the dogs. It is a small bitsa and is black, hairy and I will be able to take him out for a walk. His name is Alfie and OH is hopefully going to get him tomorrow.

Rufus - Big hugs so sorry about the dog, its always the hardest decision in the world to make.

DunndeeDoll -We're going at Easter, just having a nightmare trying to get Miss Hoodies Visa sorted - its boils down to the fact that I am a single parent, ex doesn't have parental responsibility, he's not named on the birth certificate yet I am in the process of having to have a solicitors letter to confirm all this.

Annoying as by law I dont need his permission to take her on holiday and even if he had PR I could take her out of the country for up to a month a year...

Picking up solicitors letter tomorrow, awaiting letter confirming I get Child benefit (ordered last week!) apparently a bank statement is not enough...

The cost of the Visa £104 per person............ (rant over)

On a positive took the towels to the Dogs home and very nearly came home with a gorgeous Liver and White Spaniel, I wanted to open the cage and bring him home....

Dads had a cancellation date for his shoulder op, he was due to go last July, he had a call today asking if he wouldn't mind going to a private hospital, and could he go later in week for his pre-op and the op on saturday, brilliant news as the new hospital is 10 mins from home compared to 20 miles for the other hospital. xx

Its time again for Santa's Challenge...

Hope everyone got spoilt on Valentines day, and all the dreams and wishes came true.

    Pancake Day
Next event on us is Pancake day (4th March?), so hope you have got everything ready.

    Mothers Day
Although technically Mothers Day falls within March's Santas Challenge (30th March), but worth looking into now, so whether you are doing a homemade gift, raiding the stash from the sales or having to give Junior a reminder or 2

    Monthly Add on
Hopefully the challenge from last month to add a challenge on has worked, now is the time to add another mini challenge in to the equation, whether it is something simple like not going to bed with make up on, or reading 15 minutes a day, this should fall in with the last challenge

    Easter Eggs
This feels mad writing about Easter Eggs in Feb, but the seasonal aisles are starting to pile them up, there soon be on offers at £2, so may be worth having a list for what you need

    =Miss Hoodies corner
Miss Hoodie has suggested Kitchen cupboards, - I'm sure its because tins have grown legs and gone walkies.... so gut those cupboards, and the food cupboards, dare we see who has the most out of date item,

    Cards
Hopefully we all have a few cards in hand, - so the challenge with cards is to get them sorted into what you need for each month, (or if you need to craft any cards) that way there is no last minute rush to the corner shop for the expensive cards!!

    =Christmas Task
This is a nice easy one, - grab a glass of wine, and setttle down with your lists to see what you need to get for birthday and Christmas presents - don't forget to do a copy of the list (whether its send it to an spare email address or print out),

Following on from this if you find a gift missing - set a challenge to see if you can make something for that person,

-Hopefully a gentleish one this month xx

mum2one - Cant believe the price of the visa wow wee and asking for a solicitors letter, what a giraffe. Im sure you`ll have a lovely time though
OH currently on the phone trying to organise a holiday for next year. He phoned up, told them what he wants, and all the extras and how much he wants to pay. I didn't realise you did that I thought you booked holiday advertised and negotiated the price. lol. He started by saying I seen this holiday advertised, then told them all he wanted to change about it and what extras he wants

    Dundeedoll love the beret

Rufus - sorry to hear of the dog and your poor start to the year. I felt like that for the whole of last year, couldn't wait to see the back of it. Hope things pick up for you

Moneypenny - I cant believe it either March this week hope it slows down abit through the summer

Thank you for the challenge Mum2one - I think my OH got the most out of date item, he has a tin of rice dated 2012, I`ve thrown it out twice. He`s keeping it in case
Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income

    mum2one  re visa
susan42 i made an eton mess with 4 crumbled meringue nests, large tub of fat free yoghurt and half a bag of frozen fruit. Was scrummy and my friends didnt guess it was a fat-buster :T
    mrsmoneypenny beautiful cards

March challenge already. Like any challenge that requires me to hold a glass of wine. Cupboards sounds a very good idea. 15 mins a day challenge? Sk many things to choose from. And what to give mum. We're off to granada june so perhaps a spanish hamper. As always, thanks mum2one and misshoodie.
