    Xmas Saver!
Rufus - good to see you on this side, if you need anything anytime you know just to shout.

Susan - Hope your feeling better, what ever this virus thats going round this winter seems to be lurking on everyone, poor Miss Hoodie was poorly again this morning, (sods law) felt awful but she went to school and was a bit brighter.

Lina - Thank you for the link they look brilliant going to have to have a proper look.

Finally got sorted with the presents - as usual once we got into the flow we had missed a few off the list....

    Birthday -
Budget - £245 (13 sets of presents then we have put 5 presents by for Miss Hoodie)
    Spent - £99.20
    Proper Price -£310.50

All got to get £15 cash, bottle of brandy (reckon £30) and were be done - all finished.

Mothers Day (me to mum, Miss Hoodie - for me, mum, and nan (really great Aunt, but from day 1 they took grandparents roll - does get complicated) xx
    Budget -£40
    Spent - £36
    Actual price - £75

Fathers Day - not got sorted yet

Miss Hoodie - Leaving Primary school
    *head, teacher, office ladies
    Budget - £40
spent -£5 - worth £17 - need to get bottle Wine and Bottle Whisky (£20) still come under budget.

    Christmas (49 sets of presents)
    Budget - £460
Spent - £148 - Proper price £307 - Got 23 presents - so on budget still to come under that - good as last yr budget was £660.

    Phew

Found my diary for this yr - the front cover 365 days of my life - that is now my debt busting/money management diary and then got a 2nd one for appointments etc.

    --- Give you a laugh---
When Miss Hoodie had her hospital appointment last week she was told a 6/8 weeks follow up, the appointment came today...... May (at least its May this yr).

---Wish me luck we're off to open Miss Hoodie her own bank account, said transfer her pocket money into . xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Wish you lived nearer Susan, I could do with a lovely person to teach sewing to.

I made a bolster pillow this morning for a lady who asked me to do one to go under her knees when she is in bed. Not done anything else crafty.

Got my shopping trolley yesterday, been thinking about one for ages but decided to order one from amazon with my vouchers. It is really good lol, hark at me getting excited over a trolley! I went up town in the afternoon, the grandkids were laughing at me but both wanted to have a go pulling it along. Went in Aldis and it was lovely being able to do a proper shop and be able to get it home after. With my bad arms I cant carry anything at all in one arm and the other hurts after a few minutes.

I have made up a speadsheet for my shopping, downloaded a shopping list app for my phone too so I can keep organised on what we need to buy, then I am searching online to find the best deal for each.

Going out with my son and three of the grandchildren this afternoon, one of them does ice hockey and the other two are coming to watch with me. This one hasnt had his xmas presents yet so will be taking them with me and his birthday bits as that is next week.

Rufus- thank you for that. I'm hoping to move but not far lol. I've bought a DK book on sewing so I'm going to follow that , fingers crossed. Good luck with the weight loss. I'm struggling :-/ too many nice things to eat

Tea body - glad you made some use of the wordle , I think they make fab gifts. Think I'll do one for friends anniversary

Money penny - if I stay off the computer that long if probably have the shakes lol. But I'd probably achieve so much.

I still got this virus thing, it pulls you down , can't work up enthusiasm for anything at the moment . Did make a few cards at the weekend. So they went into my card bank. My friend wants me to do a spring fayre with her so am currently thinking of ideas for that. Not successfully I might add

Anyone got any ideas? I'll have to find out if it's before Mother's Day or Easter that might help

What you all upto today? I haven't decided yet , I read somewhere it's the boots 75% tomorrow(on line at 4am :-0 ) sale not sure if I'll go yet as there didn't seem much stock left when I popped in the other day. I haven't seen many sales but what I have seen there doesn't seem to be much available. Is everyone buying at the sales this year or haven't the shops got as much stock I wonder

On a positive note. I sold 5 things on eBay so have some funds there. Prices seem to be high for things I want but low when I sell lol
