Hi Hettie, I did Swagbucks last year and earned over £100 with them. I'll cry if I have to do another survey so I'm taking this year off in that respect.
It was a good little earner though if you can deal with the monotony and being kicked out of surveys after 20 minutes completing them, you just have to take the good with the bad. It paid for a lot of my Christmas presents.
Congratulations on battling your debt down so much, that's impressive!0 -

Wow that is a massive dent in the debts, as for surveys etc, I would say sign up for one then give it a week or 2 and sign up to another, everyone finds they get on better with one survey than another. So it is really trial and error, (sorry that feels a bit of a cop out).
Looking at what you signed up to the clothes one is a brillaint challenge, but I think if your new to the making money the £10 a day may be a hard one to achieve. Set yourself a personal challenge - maybe to recoup the cost of birthdays back and see where you go from there xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hettiecarro - what's a completely crazy clothes challenge please lol ? Sounds mad . I used to do surveys bit they got a bit time consuming for me , I was itching to craft. Swag bucks , toluna and survey network were the ones I did. I know a lot of people still do them
Sugarspun- great news OH out of icu hope things pick up for you and good luck on your belated Xmas I'm sure it will be fab. What's a date? Lol
Mum2one - I think £10 a days a lot too. I suppose you have to have a goal, I think my would be £10 a week and Fingers crossed. how's miss hoodie?
LinaT - good luck with the house offer. Hope it goes ok.
I have friends coming for a few days so better sort myself out and meal plan. Might throw some cupcakes together it's one of thems birthday so make some cupcakes as opposed to whole cake.
I still haven't shaken this virus so hope they don't get it. :-( I have told them I had it though and they're still comingChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Hi all
Mum2one, I could have walked home with older 'sugar daddy' but he wasn't going home that early (11pm) and wanted me to go elsewhere. I wasn't pleased he turned up as all I heard from him telling everyone was how I stood him up yesterday afternoon, allegedly I made arrangements to meet back on Saturday but I had no recollection of that, sure he was making it up. It was true that I asked if 'one day' he would go to the phone shop with him as the staff in there have a habit of trying to force contracts onto people and I wanted a new unlocked pay as you go and he does have a strong personality so thought he'd be ideal to have along.
I may need your 'belly flop' lol if I see that man again. You know how some people wind you up as soon as you see them let alone when they start talking to you.
Poor Miss Hoodie - hope things improve fast. Any news of the parcel?
Hi Sugarspun, glad to hear DH is back from hospital and you can plan your proper Christmas. I'm amazed you've sorted your pressies out so well for this year.
Hi Lina you sound very organised with your potential earning.
Welcome helliecarro :T I've never done any of the surveys etc so far, just had savings tins.
Any of you interested in this? -
There is an U.S idea called the 52 weeks challenge.
week 1 - save £1
week 2 - £2
week 52- £52.
Some people are doing it in reverse so in December week 52 you will save £1.
Or you can do it in 6 month cycles - week 26 - £26.
Susan, hope you feel ok with your visitors and good luck with the cupcakes.
I've had nightmares third day in a row, not sure if it's about the lodger or what. This time it was ex and I in a car driving across rooftops but I discovered he'd done something to it so it was falling down, yet never actually to the ground so kept floating and floating..............and to top it up - I woke up after a dream about being surrounded by the Christmas notebook, pages of ideas lol0 -
Angela - hope your ok, the dreams sound odd, but I like the one about the Christmas notebooks, - is there any new mediciation/change of - may sound daft but if I miss out one of my night tablets I have the most awful nightmares weird.
Susan - Hope your feeling better, seems so easy that the GP says virus - yes but what virus... good luck with the guests, love the sound of cupcakes.
Sugarspun - glad hubby home and safe, whats days christmas we're fly to come an join you.
No news of the parcel.... its usually 7 days just my itchy feet into getting organised.
Miss Hoodie went back to school today, (thou she was sick again this morning), then at 9.30 we had a phone call, she had told the TA she felt sick, - I felt so awful but the office lady agreed with me that as she hadn't been sick at school that to say we were tied up to lunch time and see how she is then - good news she managed the day at school.
I know she had this "virus" over xmas - shes been bringing up blood (but the GP think she had burst blood vessels rather than a bleed) but she had blood in her urine (dropped new sample off today for testing) and were waiting the results. Its just a waiting game, a friend of mine has had this virus since Sept, it triggered into hives shes had hell of a game with it, so a bit of sick we've got off lucky, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hello again
Mum2one, re nightmares - I'm not on any daily medication. I've been overthinking the notebooks as well as various writing ideas (for publication) since the last post so think it's down to worry of some kind as I'm driving myself mad. I had to lie down for a while hoping to think clearly but it became even more muddled lol
What a strange unexpected lurgy Miss Hoodie has ended up with, hope the tests shed some light.0 -
