after much to-ing and fro-ing with Sky's hit and miss customer service, I found someone who knew what they were on about. Have switched broadband from o2 via sky direct to sky, £5 a month for 12 months.

also organised BT line rental saver, by paying for a year in advance it brings the equivalent monthly cost down.

Hopefully now I can find time to sort out Gas and electrickery during the week.

Checked mortgage balance. Today's OP will dip us into the £114ks, and by end of the month we'll be there officially :j :j :j

Lois - lovely to see you  hope you're well xx

Been catching up on the beginning of this diary and noticed what you said about veggie meals. When entertaining veggie friends, I do
    1) Tomato and mushroom risotto
    2) Bean and root vegetable stew with dumplings
    2) Tagliatelle with avocado, sweetcorn and sour cream
    4) Pasta with cream and parmesan sauce

hello all, sorry for neglecting you!

School has been horrific, work life balance non existent, and it is only now (35 more get ups to go :j) that a glimmer of light is becoming evident at the end of the tunnel.

looking forward to catching up with everyone's news

Just a quickie from me, still another fortnight or so until I'll have time to return properly to the MFW fold.

Made up for the lack of small, monthly OPs with a biggie of £550. Our built in OPs of £136.63 each month add another £409.89 to the pot.

This brings our 2014 OP total to £1679.61 or 84%.

Off to report MFI3 update. Balance at £112,484.78. This is 25 months in advance of where we should be. LTV will be in region of 60-65% when we come to remortgage next spring.

    still alive

survived lots of work done to the house this summer (chimneys repointed, pots capped, fence erected in garden, some huge windows replaced, guttering fixed). We're £4k poorer and the house looks pretty much the same. Should be much warmer this winter though.

Have exceeded our OP target for the year, and attention is now switching to building up funds in anticipation of having to pay product fees etc to remortgage next spring. Balance is in the £111ks, which is more than 2 years in advance of where we would naturally be with no overpayments.

hope to find a bit more time to join you all over the coming weeks. Hope you're all well.
