sounds much like our oven Ed :D

took mum shopping today and suitably spoilt her in anticipation of her 50th. Thinking of throwing her a tea party in the house for close family and friends. Need to think of a menu and budget.

trip to A!di for a little shop (£15) on bread, milk, fruit and salad. The great 'shop from out stores' challenge rumbles on and is still proving enjoyable. Girl on the till made positive noises about the return of the £5 vouchers in the paper this Thursday, so need to consider what will be our best plan of attack there. I also put away the AF order which arrived on Friday. Fear I may be responsible for a global shortage of couscous and lentils :rotfl:

House is a tip and I have an insane amount of school work to do. Going to potter about for a few hours (floating from room to room doing a bit here and a bit there as I see jobs that take my fancy). Following the 'touch once' system to get the house looking halfway shipshape again. If I don't do it today it will be an excuse to procrastinate tomorrow when I should be writing yet more reports.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the weekend. Going to catch up with some diaries during my breaks

Lol Alchy, one of my colleagues and very dear friend in work was equally aghast :D

Mum was 21 when she had me. I'm still the tender side of 30. Not the youngest on MF, but a spring chicken compared to many ;):D

TY Alchy :kisses3: I feel old, not so sure about wise and together :D

was safely tucked up in bed and out like a light at 8pm last night. I'm so rock and roll I scare myself :rotfl: Feeling vaguely human after 11hours sleep, so here's to a productive day. Going to make a cup of tea, and start marking my yr9 assessment drafts.

I've already assumed responsibility for couscous but if you'd claim lentils that would be great :T. Tilly can do toilet rolls :D. Any takers for anything else :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Omg this is so simple but it never occurred to me and I throw so much away. Will it work for curry paste as I often open a jar and then it's gone of next time I want to do curry?

I do this with ice cube trays of pesto, if I open a jar and won't use it up in time :)
