One wash in about to be put out, washing up about to be done.

Mush fed to Tiny who refuses to sleep. Big one taking plaits out of her hair so that is her occupied for a few hours.
  • DD is now in tears because her hair is purple, she didn't think it would go the same colour as was on the box. WTH?! I warned her I thought it was going to be too bright about a hundred times before we started, but she never listens and I'm now at the stage where I have to let her learn from her own mistakes.

I'm sure it will somehow be all my fault regardless :rotfl:

At least I avoided getting dye all over the bathroom this time, just a quick rinse and a S&S and it was back to rights.

How did you get on in the HHC? I managed to clear surfaces, dust & polish, vacuum the living room & sort the fire out. I didn't manage the kitchen floor, but I did do the dishes (I needed the bowl for the mop!) so does that count?

Stopping for a cuppa before taking My Boy out for a walk.

OH putting up the cot for Pixie. I filled a binbag of rubbish while moving stuff for it and will wrap birthday bits once it is up.. and I've stashed stuff under it :p.

I want to get my new light shades up in the kitchen too.. and sort through the mess in the kitchen. I wondered what the yummy smell was then remembered the pork in the sc.. nom.. mash and veg tonight I think.. then remaining turkey can go in to make casserole for tomorrow.

LW Lizzie looks like she has been freshly brushed. I bet your houseguests go home with lovely coats.
I find grooming dogs to be therapeutic, so if they bring their grooming kit with them, I make full use of it.:D

She is a very bonny doggie! LW I love your [strike]tales[/strike] tails about your doggie visitors! especially the postcards, so cute!
The postcards are the hardest bit of the job; I have an A5 sized card to fill, half has to be from me, and half written as if the dog was writing it, and it's very difficult to find something so say sometimes. If there's two dogs staying together, I often get two different colour pens and do their half as if they were both talking.:D

Lizzie (aka Little Miss Naughty:D) has gone home now (collected yesterday afternoon) but Ronnie the Jack Russell should be arriving in a little over an hour. He's a new guest, I know nothing about him apart from his name and breed, so it'll be interesting getting to know him.:o

Froddy (((HUGS))) life is certainly serving you lemons just now, isn't it?
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Froddington hibernating sounds good. Let me know if you find a good deal on a dehumidifier, we need at least one as well.

Anyone up for a HHC at 2.30? I am going to tidy the freezer and the fridge. Doesn't sound like a lot but both are a mess.

Not great better than nothing, sack flung, too much food waste which I'm a little unhappy about but hey onwards and upwards, sorted a box, just about to rearrange part of the kitchen
One day I might be more organised...........

Well done lil_me! Good luck with the re-arranging.

I'm back from walking My Boy and can't decide what to do next!

    Shall I:

    a) Vacuum the stairs/landing/bedroom; or
    b) Change the bed & do a load of laundry; or
    c) Sort out the yarn stash that seems to have grown in the corner...

Going to warm up first - it's decidedly chilly out there!

Freezer and outside fridge tidied and yet more stuff added to the already full freezer. Recycling out, bin jumped in to make more room (as you do) and one of the cats inspected because he is frothing at the mouth. Not sure what they have found to lick that they shouldn't but his brother was doing the same thing yesterday. Need to track this down to source and remove it.

  • Tears have dried and so has her hair, I think the dark actually really suits her, if we can tone it down a bit with a few shampoos and perhaps a veggie brown dye, she might just get away with it at school.

I know I'm ever so slightly biased but she really is turning into a beautiful young woman:

DH and I decided to make the most of an empty house by going back to bed ;) He's watching the footie scores and I'm doing the times2 crossword. We know how to kick it :D
