Ebay sales sorted ready to post.. DD2 is doing that shortly.. 10 small items out.. everything helps!
I have decided in the mission to declutter I am asking KH if he wants some of the items that were here when he was.. the treadle sewing machine and the rocking horse one of his work mates made.. they are huge space hogging things which I CAN live without.
I have found a new home for the bunny.. he is going to live with the lady who does my nails.. she has a very large hutch with run and he will have 2 lady friends to keep him company. She has recently been approved to adopt a child and the sw checks the animals each time she visits so she is happy a child will be taken care of and that the animals she currently has are well cared for so I know he will be looked after.. she neuters and vaccinates them so I am confident he will be looked after adequately which I don't feel he is being here.
I'm hoping to get the cot up for the Pixie at some point over the weekend.. the remaining boxes in my room can be stashed in the girls room while they are at KHs so we will have room to shift and juggle stuff
Did I mention he got absolutely nothing for the older 5 children? not even a box of sweets! I think it is absolutely dreadful! The 3 girls were somewhat confused about him buying them a guitar each when none have any interest in playing them. Quite odd!
I also made the executive decision that next year I am NOT hosting a get together on the 26th.. we can move it to the 27th or New Year.. either is fine but not the day after Christmas day.. I want some peace and a slightly less stressful time like everyone else!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Pigpen... has your male bunny been "done"? Glad to hear he's going to a good home but with 2 lady friends, it could get a bit chaotic‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hi all; back to normality and sanity today, in that Mr LW is at work.:o
Lizzie went for her early walk and had her brekkie; there's only just enough food for her stay. She has a dry mix, and the instruction is a "flattened scoop" for each meal (2 meals per day). I could see yesterday it was going to be tight, so I weighed the remaining food and divided it up equally by weight for the remaining meals - better to be a tad under for each meal than only be left with biscuit-crumbs for her Saturday brekkie, methinks!:o She's going home tomorrow; we have tomorrow night dogless (Mr LW wants to go and see the Hobbit film, but we shall have to see if I can hack 3 hours sat in a cinema) then Ronnie the Jack Russell will be arriving on Sunday.:o
Hankie and towel wash done; I'm not trusting the weather though, it's all on A-frames over the bath! Those bath towels are heavy when wet, and I have trouble getting them on the whirligig in any case, so I decided s*d it, they can dry indoors.;)
Piggers your new boots are fab!:T I can't justify new footwear; I don't wear any at home, and outside I'm either in the wheelchair or on the mobility buggy, so I don't wear out my old stuff.:o
Sorry no-one sang to you..... ok, somewhat belated: *clears throat*
Happy Birthday to you
Squashed tomatoes and stew
Egg and bacon for breakfast
Happy Birthday to you.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well I never claimed to actually be able to sing, did I??:D
Got monthly spreadsheet backups to do; this will be interesting, since the demise of the XP pc, the files have been divided between the other pc and the laptop, depending if they're something Mr LW may need to administer should I be incapacitated. Theoretically it's not a problem - but I have "issues" about helping myself to use of a piece of equipment I regard as belonging to someone else.:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lol Lamewolf I joined in too.
Pigpen getting nothing is terrible, I have a similar ex. The number is 30 a little one but a big one nonetheless.
One wash done, another one in, have also put together my xmas pressies of a new washing basket and a clothes hanger drying tree thing. Lunch is cooking, tiny asleep on the big one will go and sort the kitchen.0 -

oh goodness yes.. I'm a great believer in having pets done.. far too many unwanted little furry lives ended prematurely.
LW.. ty.. the lack of cake/singing was a bonus though your singing was wonderful.. I hated it as a child and appreciate it even less now I'm old.. I hate the focused attention.. which if you saw me you'd never believe cos I am centre of attention, loud in your face type.. but I hate the 'stand there while we draw attention to you'.. I'm a right old freak lol The boots are wonderful!!
Roxy.. happy not-so-big-as-my-number birthday.. for tomorrow .. for the 4th Jan!! .. it's just another day really xxxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
