Hi all, I sold a couple of things on bay of e and have transferred money to various places :)

I've checked for mystery shops but none available near me at the right time.

Chased up a refund so should have that next week meaning another little overpayment :)

Written shopping list and so far the meal plan is going well - I can check what I need to shop for and just add that to the list x its early days on the meal plan but that's going well too x hoping to see some space in the freezer next week x I need to change my list next time and just do a number of meals for the month and then assign each to a day before shopping

I'm using a small cleanser at the mo as part of my use up and declutter plan as well as using a cheap spray i got for xmas x

Hope everyone is well posting from my phone so apologies for errors

Hi DDFW - I'm also on a use-it-up mission! We're having 'proper' coffee a couple of times a week or so to use it up! Dh is having a small cafetiere at night with Baileys in - not MSE but very enjoyable! :):)

I'm using up toiletries, too - I have about 3 dozen sample tubes of clarins face creams - so these are being targeted, along with the 2 dozen trial sized tubes of toothpaste......!!! ;)

    Hi greent :)

Mmm i must admit i've thought of adding some baileys to my coffee - i've 2 bottles  but am thinking of being frugal and saving one til next xmas to save me buying one :o;) Next year i also intend on not buying nearly as many chocolates  i still have 3 full tubs and 3 boxes and some other fancy chocs to get through

I want to declutter - especially the kitchen cupboards i go through cycles though as i love us having plenty of food in :o but then i have times like now where i am overwhelmed by the amount of 'stuff' in there that isn't being used :o Thats why i'm doing the mini challenge with it - the coffee is a good easy one to start with too as its nice to have a 'proper' coffee :D I am targeting that cupboard first but working on other things too - like the face wash & cheapy spray i was given :)

    Morning All :)

Hope everyone is well ? :)

I got my refund through so have paid half to the mortgage and split the rest into savings - it is great seeing these amounts grow :D I am desperate to get some extra money in from somewhere to make more payments :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've just been looking for and applied for 1 ms with a view to using all MS money towards this years savings target :D

    Right epic list time:

    up to date on study
    start assignment
    contact tutor
check each day for MS - for savings
print off and swot up on MS
    cook new recipe
try on all clothes from last week - i'm rubbish at getting round to things like this
find and list at least 10 items on the bay of e - this is to raise money for the mortgage and for essential house jobs :)
    Run
    Work bag ready
    Washing done
    Drying Done
    All moved
    Eat out of stores
Check meal plan for coming week to list appropriate stuff out of freezer
Order meal vouchers with points :D

if you check out MSE Martin's blog (on the site somewhere) he has challenged people to pledge to run a set number of kms over the course of the year. Might be a way to help keep you focused?

Thanks P_D - i may look into this - i did this myself last year but lost track and didn't run nearly as much as i should have - part of the reason its such a focus this year too :)

Hi Alchemilla - i was absolutely not a runner - i could not run to the corner of our (very short) street :o Then i entered into a run for charity, printed out the details of when i should run and how to build it up gradually which i followed and now i can run 5k :T i am so pleased i did this today as i hadn't run for a while - i am hoping to build up to 10 miles  or half marathon. And this is from someone who could not run for a minute without wanting to stop. I *did* want to run though and this made me push myself and i do enjoy it :)
